Noctua Introduces NA-IS1 Inlet Spacers for Suction Applications and NA-SAVG2 Gasket Set

Martin and SPCR were huge losses to the PC review market. I guess GN is trying and VSG is still around, but no one is experimenting and theorizing the way those two were.

Martin never got onto my radar.
For WCing, I mostly spent time at ProCooling until the end of the Cather? G4 era. Still have an Iwaki MD20Z squirreled away somewhere.

What Mike C at SPCR did could be replicated, but no fan reviewer seems to care to invest in it. Kind of like how FPSes are still often presented despite Tech Reports’ Inside the Second over a decade ago.

Meh. At least TechPowerUp exists for us refugees.

VSG’s reviews here are pretty great, if with a different crowd in mind. Gamersnexus has been working with Mike on their own fan testing method, hopefully it provides some parity.

GN's new fan testing setup is goung to be great once we really start to see it put to use - and hopefully this type of stuff will also be a focus for LTT Labs once they get going properly. They certainly have the resources! It honestly feels like we're finally getting back to proper testing and quality journalism in the tech space again after a decade or so of everyone being so beholden to manufacturers that everything was essentially just PR, with relatively few exceptions. And of course massive kudos to those who have kept it going through that period despite it being almost impossible to do, including the team here at TPU.
