Is Your Rig Ready for Crysis?

yer, thats what i thought at 1st... but then i look at my current temps & performance & look at how much more i can push out with water!
also i have an accrylic case with UV cathodes! so water would look awesome (expecialy with the custom setup i wanna make & purple UV liquid with clear pipes with blue smartcoil around it!)

I would probably do water cooling in the future but I have no idea what equipment I need for water cooling. All I know is that you need a CPU/GPU block, radiator, tubes.

So it says but I also have the recommended specs for Stalker and it runs terrribly with its pauses when loading in game.

I can only hope it brings the goods in smooth performance, addictive gameplay and storyline.
No loading pauses please. . . .

They released a patch for that, 1.004 fixed stuttering and low fps outdoor scenes (unfortunately it didn't make me go back to finish the game, maybe later).

At first everyone will have problems with Crysis afterall the majority of games that come out today are patched fairly soon after release.

Don't judge the game's graphics or performance on the beta, the demo should give a better indicator of whats to come. :)

Don't usually play demos because of that reason.
I have Stalker patched to 1.0004 but it still pauses when loading in the outdoor scenes.
Usually when first entering the area or when running towards an area where there are npcs either dead or alive.
Never had low fps issue.

I liked the creepiness of the game otherwise.

Mine JUST about qualifies for minimum requirements. In a way, I'm quite impressed as my system is way over 4 years old. Upgrade coming soon though! :D

Well, I can handle the beta extremely well, so I assume there's no problem with the "real" version. :)

Anyone take a gander at how this game will run on a set of 2600xt's?
*Not for me....*

I'm probably going to pickup a 2900pro.
