In a bid to clear out inventories of its Radeon RX 6000 series RDNA2 graphics card inventory constipating its supply-chain, AMD decided to bundle "The Callisto Protocol" and "Dead Island 2" with these graphics cards, for a promotion period between February 4, 2023 and March 4, 2023. Buyers of the Radeon RX 6600, RX 6600 XT, RX 6650 XT, RX 6700, RX 6700 XT, RX 6750 XT, RX 6800, RX 6800 XT, RX 6900 XT, and RX 6950 XT get both games on new purchases; whereas just "Dead Island 2" is bundled with the RX 6400 and RX 6500 XT. Both are fairly recently launched AAA titles. "The Callisto Protocol" is a story-driven survival horror, while "Dead Island 2" is an online multiplayer zombie-apocalypse shooter. As with all game bundles, this latest promotion is limited to certain market regions, and participating retailers. To find out if your favorite retailer is eligible, visit this page.

Then they become even more of a budget option compared to nVidia and look even worse to investors and the market.

Err, these investors clearly have no clue about the demand-supply, and free market principles, in which the less desired product which no one buys is always cheaper than the luxury which is bought by 90% because they think it's of higher quality.

They should lower the prizes on the cards instead......tsk

100% this ^^^^^^.

Card prices are not going down.

I dont agree, its clearing inventory for the new batch to arrive, I can only see it as a win all around.

DI2 is not out yet, but seeing CP is disappointing. Then again, AMD offered bigger trash in the past, like the latest Saints Row.

I'd rather get $100 off the price of the card then two digital equivalents of landfill sludge.

They did lower it. The RX 6950XT is now $799 with the bundle. The 6900 XT has been $679 for a couple of months now.

So would I, and probably anyone looking to get these cards, but it's not going to happen since it costs tiny fractions of the games' retails price to offer these bundles. Best one can do is sell the account with the unactivated games.

But you know it's costing them no were near that to do this.
