I don't know about other countries, but in Canada, the 7900 XTX and 7900 XT were both available around the US MSRP. You can also buy the 7900 XT from AMD's own store, and at $1,222.51, it's slightly less than the US MSRP right now.

That is not true. The 6900XT did not price well because the 6800XT was a much better buy and therefore was in some cases as expensive as a 6900XT. I think the As rock 6900XT sat at Memory Express for $1299 but the Strix 6800XT was $1399+ and as high as $1800 $1999 for the Water block version. That is in Canadian dollars too.
