Of course, cause you are not admitting you are wrong. 2 days later you are going to show up in another thread talking about 16 pins melting again

Do you have like a quota you need to reach or something ?

Search this thread for “16 pin whatever” and see for yourself who won’t stop talking about it.

You did no such thing, you are delusional if you think so.
I posted you links of 8 pins melting. You know 8 pins right? Its the ones amds cards are using. So amd is using power connectors that melt...

So I have seen few driver issues and I noted over 3Ghz in some instances of use mostly F@H everything else maxes at 2.85/2.9.

No major issues with driver's here on a 7900XT.

As for the AMD TROLLS, there at it again shitposting in every AMD thread, never on topic never.

And what with the ninja moderator weya, I won't be reporting anything anymore, it's PM's and straight talk here from now on.

I'll try and not aim it at people, that might help but it is what it is.

Which does not prove they melt at same rate in any way, once again you have absolutely no clue whatsoever what the word fact means.

It doesnt prove they dont either. You insist that the 16pin melting is an actual issue, even if its proven that its user error, just because there is nvidia involved. If it was amd, you wouldnt have said a word and you know it.

16 pins melt at the same rate as any other cable that hasn't been plugged properly. That's just a fact, i don't know why you insist on that nonsense.

How do I know drivers crash on amd? A read on amds owners thread in every single forum on planet earth suggests that. HDR not working? Again, the internet is full of complaints about this.
And.. there are numerous complaints from Nvidia's side with every new driver, too. That's why there's always a list of "to be fixed" problems on both sides...

The burden of proof is on you to prove that the 8 pin connector has had as many issues as its 16 pin counterpart. Dredging up a few posts from Reddit doesn't indicate the frequency of the problem. Keep in mind that the 8 pin connector has been around for nearly 20 years. Moreover, the posts that I've seen are cases of repeated use, i.e. miners. The 16 pin connector issue, on the other hand, happened in the first few days of purchase.

In any case, this is off topic, and you should start your own thread if you want to discuss 8 pin vs 16 pin.

Utter nonsense. But regardless, it's not AMD, it's Nvidia. That sucks for their fanboys I guess.

How is that even an argument, whatever you think of RT - its still way better on nvidia than it is on amd, so I don't see exactly what point you are trying to make.
Just pointing out some striking similarities, see, this all depends on perspective. It is yet undecided who has a superior RT implementation in hardware. Right now both camps aren't really at a point where its usable enough - the perf cost is high for still a small part of the intended effect. Portal is a great example.

Yes, happened in the first few days and then stopped. Because it was completely user error, exactly like the 8pins melting is user error. So both plugs melt if you dont plug them properly. So its neither an Nvidia or an amd issue.

And ? If it doesn't prove anything why even mention it? You insist to go out of your way to prove that you don't know what you are talking about.

16pins melting is as big an issue for nvidia as 8pins melting is for amd. If you can't plug a cable hire someone else to build your computer

Sure. People should write how good their drivers are and taht they work without problems. wake up!!!! It's a forum and people put in their issues seeking help from people who know how to help them since they know their PC stuff. For one dude with a driver crashing problem in a forum, there's 100k without that problem. Constantly have problems? use your head and stop spewing crap all around.

7900 XTX. been watching pricing here in Norway and sadly, still too high for my taste. Also, still have the 6900xt which is working great.

But that doesn't apply to the 16 pin melting, does it?

My point is, whenever someone went from nvidia to amd, they get surprised by the amount of crashes and black screens. Which never is the case when they go from nvidia to amd

Another untrue not possible to verify claim that you spread. We can't cling to individual's opinions. A handful of people had a problem and suddenly it becomes a fact and a major problem.
It isn't.
