I'll say only this. After LGA2011 in servers Intel was unable to create solid socket design. All those billions of $ and can't create fool-proof CPU mounting mechanism. AMD since first TR/Epycs has absolutely the best CPU socket (yes, yes I remember Foxconn debacle at the very beginning) ever designed.

It's impressive size, but... so easy to destroy. I've said a while ago. Until Intel creates normal CPU mounting mechanism, I'll never go Xeon/HEDT. AMD TR/Epyc all the way here.
