Razer, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced two additions to the popular DeathAdder line - the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition and the Razer DeathAdder V3.

Designed in collaboration with world renowned esports player and League of Legends icon Lee "Faker" Sang-Hyeok, the DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition showcases a unique personalized design for the Unkillable Demon King, while equipped with high-performance hardware. The cult-favorite esports mouse has always been Faker's weapon of choice, with the DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition as a testament. Separately, the DeathAdder V3 presents a wired option updated with Razer's latest mice technology, for the best advantage in competitive play.

"We believe in creating the ultimate gaming peripherals that help esports athletes achieve victory," said Flo Gutierrez, Director of Global Esports at Razer. "The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition celebrates our long-standing friendship with Faker since 2016, giving him a version of his own favorite mouse that has accompanied his legacy as an esports legend."

For The Unkillable Demon King

Armed with a DeathAdder mouse, Faker made history by winning three world championships in 2013, 2015, and 2016 - respectively - a feat shared by only one other player. Touting it as the only mouse for him, Faker has long championed Razer's most popular esports mouse line. With the DeathAdder as his weapon of choice, Faker has dominated the competition, being the only player to achieve multiple feats including over 500 wins and 2,600 kills across all League of Legends Champions Korea competitions and over 100 wins across international competitions.

"This is a special moment for me. I've always dreamed of having my own mouse and now I can share it with my family, friends, and fans," said Lee "Faker" Sang-Hyeok. "I love the design and the performance is unparalleled. Huge thanks to Razer for all their efforts and working with me on this amazing project."
Completing all the hallmarks that have made it a well-loved mouse by fans worldwide, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition features all the best-in-class technology offered by the brand. This includes the Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3, Razer HyperSpeed Wireless. Upgradable to true 4000 Hz polling rate with the Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, and it continues to sport a 63 g ultra-lightweight design while retaining its refined ergonomic form factor.

A New Favorite, For The Pro

The cult-favorite, Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro, is now available as a wired option. Introducing the DeathAdder V3, which is packed with Razer's flagship technologies such as the Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3 and true 8000 Hz HyperPolling Technology. It provides gamers with unrivalled performance, speed, and reliability. While being ultra-lightweight at 59 g, the Speedflex cable enables minimal drag and quick swipes to take out the competition. The all-new smooth touch texture is comfortable to use and does not compromise on grip for easy handling.

The DeathAdder V3 Pro Faker Edition and the new Razer DeathAdder V3 collectively complete Razer's latest iteration of their best-selling mice.

I just don't get the weirdos buying these high dollar barely have features devises

Just buy a cheap one and graffiti it kids

I genuinely don't understand the DeathAdder line. Why would one prefer this over the Basilisk V2 or V3?

The Basilisk series is a heavier mouse lineup that focuses on right-handed comfort. DeathAdder is a lighter (50% lighter compared to the former) all-arounder mouse.

Viper is the FPS/RTS-focused lightweight ambidextrous lineup.

Thank you for a factual and point of view of value that isn't combative.

I think the ambidextrous approach is pretty appealing. And that's a pretty substantial weight difference but in your opinion, at what point do you think light is too light**? I switch between The Basilisk V2 and G502x and there's a noticeable difference, the 502 always ends up feeling cheap even though it's pretty decent.

**I know weight =/= quality but there is a mental perception at least to me.

No problem. I don't take part in useless arguments or call out people for not being informed. Not everyone knows everything.

Weight is mostly subjective. Some people like hefty mice because of the resistance without relying too much on their muscles in the hand and arm. Others like having lighter mice (like myself) because of the opposite, relying more on arm movement for accurate control. What weight is comfortable for you is totally up to you.

I currently switch between a Pro X Superlight and G303 Shroud. They're both lightweight FPS-oriented mice (61g vs 75g), but the unusual diamond shape of the G303 is nice for everyday work while I use the Superlight for competitive Apex/Valorant/FPS play. I do use glass mousepads though so I have minimal resistance when moving around.

.. Glass mouse pads. That's honestly something I never considered (or knew existed). I was considering glass skates but mouse pad might make more sense

PTFE feet on a glass mousepad is pretty quick and I believe has the least resistance. Glass feet on a speed clothed mousepad should be about the same or just a little more resistant, but more comfortable for resting your arm on. Again really up to personal preference.

Do not do glass feet on a glass mousepad. Two solid surfaces would shave each other over time and cause the fastest wear and tear (or cracks/particles?).

My VPTFE feet are showing some minor scratching SteelSeries QcK Hard Mat. Though I think it may be the dust (I can feel it when it happens brush it away and it's fine again) but just ordered a glass pad. You've peaked my interest.

I have the viper pro which is really light, but I'd still want it lighter. Lots of people like me with carpal issues, using an 80 or 100g mouse is really painful, especially for some fast paced games like dots 2 apex etc

Personally I like heavier mice, I have the rival 710 as a backup, I just can't use it
