EK, the leading liquid cooling gear manufacturer, launches a workstation and a 1U rack-compatible high-performance liquid cooling solution for AMD Zen 4-based EPYC server processors. Code-named "Genoa," these AMD CPUs come with up to 96 cores and 192 threads and have a TDP of up to 360W. These specifications render these processors perfect for liquid cooling, especially in a dual-socket motherboard environment.

EK-Pro CPU WB SP5 Ni + Acetal
This is a dedicated enterprise-grade water block developed specifically for AMD processors. It features three standard G1/4" threaded ports located on the top of the water block and is intended for workstations and taller server racks.

The top is made from durable CNC-machined POM Acetal. Every EK-Pro CPU WB SP5 Rack water block comes with a precisely machined copper base (sometimes called "cold plate") made from the purest copper available on the market and treated with nickel electroplating.

The EK-Pro CPU WB SP5 water block has a pre-assembled error-preventing mounting mechanism installed directly onto the SP5 socket mounting holes, while the six spring-loaded screws ensure optimal hold-down pressure. The result is perfect installation and optimal performance every time. This also means the water block is out-of-the-box compatible with AMD's server-type Socket SP5 motherboards. With such a mounting solution, the user does not need to remove the motherboard from the case and can enjoy a hassle-free installation of the new CPU.

EK-Pro CPU WB SP5 Rack Ni + Acetal
This dedicated enterprise-grade water block developed explicitly for AMD processors features a total of 4 side-located ports with G1/8" threading to take up as little space as possible. These G1/8"-threaded side ports enable a smaller vertical footprint, making this water block 1U rack compatible.

Aside from 1U compatibility, the goal in designing the new EK-Pro CPU WB SP5 Rack - Nickel + Acetal water block was to cover the entire IHS of the SP5-based AMD EPYC processors and achieve optimal cooling performance. A dense micro-fin structure fully covers the CPU dies located below the IHS for more efficient cooling.

That's a lot of press releases from a company that won't even provide an answer to some serious allegations!
Priorities, EK! Your prices are high, your competence and quality are in question.

EK stays quiet on that one and I don't blame them, since it's Asus who has to make a statement first - it's their motherboard. If they say that the LC block manufacturer (whoever it is, probably not EK, looking at the technology it was made in) is at fault here, then the latter can speak up.
