Looking for a perfect surface for both gaming AND building your custom water-cooling loops? Look no further, as EK has you covered with its brand-new accessory item, the EK-Loot Mousepad—Quantum. These mats have numerous useful features to make your loop-building process easier, your PC environment more awesome, and your gaming sessions more successful. Aside from being a perfectly smooth surface for your mouse to slide across, these EK-Loot mousepads will also be a great reminder of the fun times you had building the loop, bending the tubes, and thoroughly enjoying your new hardware.

This mousepad is inspired by the Quantum line of EK products and features various useful sketches and information that can help you with your loop-building process, including an explanation of the EK-Matrix7 system. It features guides for tubing, EK-Quantum Torque fittings and extenders, screw types, and more; while it also eliminates the need for remembering the exact pressures needed for loop testing - it's right in front of you on the mat. Sized 900 mm by 400 mm, the L size is the all-rounder. It offers a large surface area to fit a mouse and a keyboard or build your water-cooling loop on while remaining compact enough to fit on smaller desks.

The low-friction fabric surface also has exceptional tracking performance for optical and laser mice.

The mat is 3 mm thick with a non-slip rubber base that keeps it in place even during the most intense gaming sessions or loop assembly. The edge of the mat is decorated with dense anti-fray stitching that increases durability and prevents everyday wear and tear that mousepads must endure. The stitching is vulnerable to fire and cat claws.

This brand-new EK-Loot Mousepad - Quantum is available for purchase through EK Webshop. The table below shows the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), VAT included.

MSRP: 37.90€. For more information, visit the product page.

Steve is not gonna be happy, an other company challenging his monopoly empire of "Tech" mats. :D

I don't think he cares, a lot of other youtubers and companies sell tech decorated mousepads. As for the mod mat specically it's in a league of it's own with antistatic in mind and grounding points

Why is it so expensive?! EKWB is not about carpets.
Mats with a jacquard surface are significantly cheaper, it is better to buy them, so it will be premium material! +take the glass legs and put them on the mouse and get the perfect combination. this is the TOP solution. but personally I use sapphire legs, so the control is higher.

yeah I should have mention the link to the story :

the EK modmat looks great btw.

I made the connection myself but I think it's a different story, intel tried to hunt down specific suppliers to copy products (specifically the toolkit, which they produced a bunch of and gave at least to media contacts - i.e. featured on the review of arc cards here on tpu), this is just another mousepad with a familiar theme, tons of people make them
