MSI Afterburner Finally Gets a Big Update

Nvidia's tools dont include an overclocker, and they make up 88% of the market.

I also enjoy AMD's adrenalin, but many still use afterburner.
Coolbits :p

I feel old :(

The fact neither party are commenting on payment is your answer right there.
MSI doesn't want to publicly disclose they're sending money to someone located in Russia.

^ this ... MSI and the AB creator have apparently figured out a way to circumvent the sanctions so maybe we can put the silly MSI hating to rest. It should be very obvious why an international corp like MSI was forced to tread carefully in a case like this one.

Many Russian developers have relocated (not physically but legally) to countries like Malta in order to avoid the sanctions. A well known example would be Owlcat Studios (Pathfinder RPGs and currently working on WH40K Rogue Trader).

I cannot comment current status of past year's licensing issues on public, sorry. The same apply to MSI, they won't be commenting it on public. That's mutual decision of both parties. I can only say that currently the project is still alive and both sides will try to do everything to keep it alive in future.

I take it you're the afterburner developer?

Never met a developer before for any of the applications i use. Great piece of software mate!

Sooo, MSI apparently found a way to circumvent sanctions and finance ruskies waging war. We're celebrating why exactly?

I hope this comment just above was a joke.

Im a bit curious if there was an update why is MSI still letting people download 4.6.5 beta 4 from the website??
