More Pictures of NVIDIA's Cinder Block-sized RTX 4090 Ti Cooler Surface

The 50 people going to buy this rejoice!

If you're spending £2500-3000 on this, not getting a waterblock for £200 would be dumb.
Don't offend people, they might start throwing 4090Ti's at you.
You should watch what you say, freedom of speech doesn't protect death threats.

I'll just wait for an RTX 5080... :D

Let me guess - due to the focus on AI, not gaming
Nvidia hasn't released a "non gaming targeted" consumer product since Titan V.

Just a little more thickness, and the power supply will work as a graphics card support stand...
That's what she said.....

And meanwhile I'm just saving to buy an innocent RTX 4080 !

why are they doing like this? why don't sell pcb to "after-market brands" who can install waterblock? whats a point have gpu that size? i mean COOLER :D

Just for 500$ more? they wont evet bother releasing it.
nono, they will launch it @2500$ and then unlaunch it ...

and probably re launch it for 4090$

P.S.: for once the cheapest 4090 at my etailer (and in stock) is 1589.90chf/$ ... oddly close to MSRP ... very strange ...

i think we need an adult elephant for proper scale. Ridiculous, absurd, stupid.

Get used to it, it seems to be the future of faster GPU's... :(

This is probably the prototype that was tripping breakers and causing power supplies to go up in smoke lol.

I hope the PCB has carbon fibers in it, so it doesn't break from the weight of that cooler. Imagine how cool will be sitting to the Apple.

Apple: Here is iPhone 15 Pro/Max. World's first smartphone frame made of titanium. (That's real)
nVidia: Here is RTX 4090 Ti. World's first GPU PCB, enhanced with carbon fibers to reduce the risk of cracking.

This joke video is becoming reality.

Yeah they are becoming their own meme.
And whats the point on 4090ti?, I mean, 5090 will (has to) be an overkill when compared to previous generations (in terms of reviews, no matter the price) and its possible the next release after this Ti, (SUPER versions apart). These late Ti versions are a joke in the consumer cycle.

The point is, because #1 they can, #2 there will be always people wanting the best of the best. Blackwell (5090) is probably 2025, because of the TSMC N3 yield issues. At the moment just Apple will have access to their own 3nm aka N3B. Kinda DOA, but it is what it is.

in the future we will be adding a motherboard to a gpu.

This thing may not got very hot, that is why is made this big, but it will spread heat every where, your case, your room .. Because of my 4090, I've just moved my pc to another room, where the air conditioner is. I really regret upgrading from 3090.
Top tier four use a lot of power and put out a lot of heat. This should surprise no one.

People have been decrying GPUs getting “bigger” for decades. Even back in ye old voodoo days the absurdly long voodoo 5 was getting flak.
why I don’t know. It’s in a case, who cares, y’all build ATX PCs then cry when your GPU uses more then 2 slots.

Yeah they are becoming their own meme.

Because they can? I dont know why, pc enthusiasts used to love powerful new hardware, now everyone’s cynical about everything.

What brand? I can't see my Strix 4090 going above 60-61.

I've noticed that one or two hours of gaming noticeably raises the temperature in the room I'm gaming in. And that's with a 1080 Ti (250W TDP). I can only imagine what a 4090 (450W TDP) would do to that room. For better or for worse, I can legitimately see a 4090-equipped PC replacing the small space heater I use to warm my feet during Chicago winters.

lol the 4090 is already bottlenecked by our cpu's. $600 more for 2% more FPS that you wont feel.

GPUs these days come with support brackets, but this honker might need a full-on erector set

I pretty much keep the heat low during winter (although I am in Texas) because of my 7900xtx pulling almost 380w depending on the game. It can get pretty unbearable in the summer here with a card this hot.

I'm surprised more people don't talk about this. My main rig is in my bedroom and a 300W gpu is already pushing it. I can't imagine an i9/4090 combo...
