We are pleased to announce the new G-SR II mousepad. The G-SR II adopts G-SR, offering a consistent smooth and controlled glide during mouse movements. The G-SR II has been improved to increase its resistance to humidity. Moreover, the new tighter cloth surface reduces issues with glide inconsistency after frequent use and enhances durability.

G-SR II's slightly smoother glide feel makes it easier to start moving the mouse; with less friction for mobility in multiple angle movement and long distance aiming, while at the same time maintaining similar stopping power for stable control. Check out more information here.

I hate mouse pads, they always seem to "rub off" on your skin, can't be healthy for the skin to be absorbing that crap over time.

I wonder if this mouse pad uses a different material.

I wonder if 100% cotton mouse pad with no dye could be developed someday, if woven a certain way to be used as a mouse pad with no unhealthy black crap rubbing off into my skin.

I don't know about G-SR II, but I use P-SR (G-SR of another size) and can't say bad thing about how it interacts with my skin and it's generally just nice to touch. But what impressed me the most, I use this pad everyday for six or even seven years and it's in literally perfect condition after so many years and even more washings. The only thing showing it gets old are these stitched edges which peeled of minimally, being in completely acceptable state which some products show when new. I bought this pad with Logitech G403 Prodigy Wireless and use both till now - both seemed to me quite pricey for what they are, but I gave good and quality products a chance. And they proved it and served me wonderfully for way longer than I expected (EDIT: I checked and bought both 13.3.2017, so six+ years of great service)

You just haven't tried a good one yet.

Well, I have 3 name brand ones, a Steelseries, etc and they all do the same thing as the cheap ones do as far as the rubbing off of the black crap.

Yeah, SteelSeries is low end. Just sayin'.

Try a PureTrak or an Artisan for example.

thanks, I will give those a try. at the moment I don't use a mouse pad, my desk from IKEA seems to have a good enough finish where I don't need one thankfully
