It appears that Logitech is getting ready to launch its first revision of the G Pro Superlight which simply gets a 2 in the model name to differentiate it from the current model. The G Pro X Superlight 2 is getting a new Hero 2 sensor that is said to feature a 32,000 DPI sensor, suggesting it might be capable of tracking at over 500 inches per second (IPS) with 40 G worth of acceleration. The USB report rate has also doubled from 1 kHz to 2 kHz, which at least in theory, means reduced input lag.

According to Winfuture who leaked the G Pro X Superlight 2, it will also get up to 95 hours battery life, a 25 hour improvement over the current model. Logitech is also said to have shaved off a further 3 grams of weight, although the G Pro X Superlight 2 is by no means the lightest competitive gaming mouse around. Another and most likely more appreciated feature improvement that the weight reduction, is a move to USB-C for charging, something Logitech has been slow at adopting compared to many of its competitors. The biggest downside of the new model seems to be the expected MSRP, which according to Winfuture will be somewhere between €160-170, with the current model going for €139 in Europe.

Groundbreaking /s

I was a big fan of the original G Pro, and considering I had RGB off and only ever used the left side buttons, I may as well have been using a G Pro Superlight (sans weight reduction  ). Good to see they've *finally* switched to USB-C charging, took them long enough. Also hope they'll have addressed the annoying intermittent double-clicking issue on the side buttons. It was always easily fixable, but I shouldn't have to "fix" my mouse every 2-3 months. Admittedly the price is very steep..

It's 2023 and Logitech still struggles to release a gaming mice with MagSpeed scroll wheel ....
But of course!
the price matches exactly as you already got it,but without having it in reality.
Very good job Logitech, now go to fuck your self!

Thank GOd USB C on logitech products. My G903 just broke and I refuse to buy a micro b mouse nowdays.

if my Superlight X ever breaks i'll buy this one imediately.

Most important question, does it come with USB-C or again the fragile Micro-USB?
I bought my Superlight Pro X not that long ago. Not going to switch until it dies, just like GerKNG

How often do you need to scroll long documents in games? Just out of curiosity.
And how does MagSpeed differ from their older HyperScroll wheel that were featured in gaming mice too?

My G604 even has sidescrolling option. If i had to guess they left out MagSpeed due to weight issues. On MX series it's not a problem but on the Superlight where every gram counts is suspect it could have played a role.

If you bothered to read the writeup here you would see that it does indeed comes with USB-C.

What, EXACTLY, is this ??? Except for the silly sensor spec, I see no mention of it in the description above.....

As for battery life, my MX 2's & 3's usually go for at least 2 weeks @8-18 hrs/day before needing more juice, so somehow I think I will NOT be forkin out $175 for a new rodent that doesn't last nearly as long... although I do applaud the switch to USB-C charging, F*i*N*A*L*L*Y....

It's on the G502 and not meant for a FPS competitive mouse like this one.

I've had my white G Pro X Superlight for two years and has gotten me to Lone Survivor rank in PUBG and qualified me for scrims in Apex a bunch of times in that timeframe. The only issues I have with it is that the paint has smeared off a bit where the thumbrest is beneath the left side buttons and microUSB, but aside from that its the perfect FPS mouse IMO.

This shape + hyperscroll + 100g or more = perfect mouse.

Ultra lightweight mouse fad is ZZZ, and the g502 has way too many unnecessary buttons.

It is not about scrolling long docs inside games, but it's about the sensation which gives you the magnetic iduction scroll wheel.
Sorry buddy, but after i got this induction wheel on my MX3 i don't wanna go back to an ordinary encoder like the one on this shitty over priced gaming mice.

The G502 has it. Always has.
Nope,it never has a real magnetic induction scroll wheel like the one on MX3.
The one mounted on G502 is optical + ratchet mode scroll wheel.

Is that battery life increase rated at 2khz or standard 1khz?

People seem to be salty in this thread but the reality is this thing will sell like hotcakes

60g?

jeez mice should be like 6kg and ambidextrous, work those arms while you game!!!

Well my G604 is a behemoth at 125g compared to standard G502 at 99g or GPX2 at 60g.

Mouse made for small hands. Where is bigger version?
There are tones of palm grip mice. Like 90% of all mice. G Pro is a series for fingertip grip, although wireless mice usually very bad for fingertip grip due to massive disbalance.

Pretty bad wheel. Flat wheel of original G Pro and Orochi V2 is better to use.

As you know more about mouses than I. Has logitech become better than Roccat or still lagging behind? Mouse clicks (buttons), comfort, quality wise?

I did read it, just sometimes I jump words while speedreading... I understand the context, but I miss a detail.
