AMD today released the latest version of AMD Software Adrenalin drivers. Version 23.10.1 WHQL adds optimization for "Assassin's Creed Mirage," and "Lords of the Fallen." The drivers also introduce Radeon AntiLag+ support for "Counter Strike 2." Among the issues fixed with this release include an application crash with "Starfield" on certain Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs, an intermittent driver crash with "Counter Strike 2" when playing with MSAA or FSR enabled; stutter improvements for "Counter Strike 2," EA FC 23 failing to launch with GPUs such as the RX 7800 XT, a system freeze or black screen error seen when playing back video files on certain RX 6000 series GPUs; and a display freeze noticed when changing the encoding format while streaming games with AMD Link.

Installed them after work.

And played a few rounds of CS 2 and much better. I didn't touch the previous beta was waiting for this release build.

yep, installed a few hours ago and its better for me too.

I guess 23.9.2 was the end of the line for Vega/Polaris. They didn't get 23.9.3, and it doesn't look like they've gotten 23.10.1 either.

no new driver for rx580 :)

Don't expect one, how ever time to time they do. I believe they done a few (2) now and even then that was years ago.

Strange, they are currently only mentioned in the notes:

That giant prolly needs a chiropractor. He looks miserable.

Intel has already released a Forza Motorsport ready driver. Nvidia the same. While AMD... That's pathetic.

Will download tonight. Kinda my "nightlight" function in Win 11 ain't working properly with AMD drivers. It was perfectly fine when I had GTX1650, switched to AMD and now it's not turning on automatically as it used to.....

Exactly what I came to report as well. CS2 now plays smooth as a baby's bottom.

Still getting the drivers reset due to an unexpected system failure each time I restart windows.

do you have fast startup enabled?

edit: ah crap, sorry never mind! just now remembered the issue with fast startup and AMD Radeon Software resetting was related to cold boots, not warm boots/restarts.

still having freezes, now seem to be less frequent but a lot more harmful since the driver doesnt recover

forza motorsport crashes randomly but i imagine thats the game's fault

Have you tried using AMD's Cleanup Utility? I was having all kinds of problems with crashes and reboots. I had to use this utility to remove some old driver files from last year. Once I did that, I never needed to use it again and my system has been running well with the new drivers.

Are the previewed features still present?! Frame generation etc

It is pathetic but expected from this company. I don't know how its users still suffer this torture and instead don't jump the sinking ship off, finally.

The most pathetic part is that the RX 500 series is AMD's best selling / highest market share series and they had to first release something meaningful, so that the users would like to replace those with... before ending the support / or trying to. What the hell, AMD ? :kookoo::mad::banghead:

These idiots... they really want to close the consumer graphics department !

What?

Yet another lazy and ignorant response. Every single accusation you threw points right back at yourself now.

These drivers support Forza Motorsport:

And these drivers support Polaris and Vega:

Inform yourself, maybe just this once:
