Brown switches is an odd choice for an 8000hz polling keyboard. I mean, I prefer browns over linear switches myself, but keyboard marketed towards the 'twitchy gamer'(8000hz polling rate), you'd think they'd have used Cherry Silvers, Optical switches, or at the very least Cherry Reds.

ANSI = the Americas and parts of Asia, ISO = Europe and some other parts of the world. Then there are some crappy hybrid variants as well that you really, really don't want.

UK folks get screwed always on price, I am just comparing it to equivelent - like keyboard builds elsewhere, most are in the £250 upwards bracket.

It looks like a nice board, but at $190, it better function extremely well too, or else there's gonna be ALOT of backlash on Spigen for launching an overpriced paperweight....

So a company I've never heard of until right this moment (thanks to reading the article) is offering a generic looking office keyboard with some "gamer lights" and supposed 8K polling rate for the crazy stupid price of $190 USD? I wouldn't touch this thing with a 10 foot pole. Not to mention the choice of switch - generic Cherry browns? My first thought was either silvers, even reds...not browns.

I would wait for a real review of it, looks can be deceiving and I have owned cheap Amazon boards that feel better than expensive ones.

You have a weird definition of decent price

It's pretty outrageous, you can over pay for a corsair keyboard with per key rgb (which this one doesn't seem to have - weird thing to cheap out on at 200$) and be able to use the same crappy app you might already use with other stuff instead of an extra one.

IMO the only thing it has going for it is using cherry browns when several keyboards are only coming with red's or some other linear and/or optical twitch game oriented crap

yea idk, 1000hz seems sufficient for keyboards. The delayed actuations alone would probably make this slower than analogue keyboards in practice.

I like Spigen I;ve had several Spigen phone cases and they've all done a very good job at protecting my phone. This keyboard though... The price is ridiculous (but lots are these days) and 8K seems pointless as 1000HZ is plenty for modern peripherals. Also, if this is the "fastest" keyboard wouldn't it make sense to have speed silvers instead of brown switches?
