EK, the EU-based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is introducing new L-shaped brackets for all current FLT series products. The EK-Loop Angled Bracket enables users to mount the FLT-style combo units or reservoirs to any 120 mm fan mounting holes in a perpendicular manner. This will allow more airflow to freely pass through the case and offer new mounting options that would otherwise be unsupported by the case itself.

EK-Loop Angled Brackets
The EK-Loop Angled Brackets can be mounted to 120 mm (105 mm hole spacing) or 140 mm (125 mm hole spacing) fan mounting holes. The bracket allows you to mount the FLT series products to your case, fans, or radiators in a perpendicular (at a 90-degree angle) alignment. Additionally, you can use the long or the short side of your FLT product for additional mounting options by rotating the product that is being mounted.

EK-Loop Angled Bracket - 120/140 mm
This bracket is used to mount the components with 140 mm fan mounting holes to 120 mm fan holes. For example, it allows the user to mount a 140 mm radiator, a 140 mm fan, or an EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate to a case mount for 120 mm fans.

EK-Loop Angled Bracket - 140/120 mm
This bracket is used to mount the components with 120 mm fan mounting holes to 140 mm fan holes. For example, it enables mounting a 120 mm radiator, a 120 mm fan, or an EK-Quantum FLT 120 pump-reservoir combo to a 140 mm fan mount.

This bracket and its rail system allow offsetting the product by about 10 cm because the screws are not in a fixed location. While engineered for FLT products, this bracket is not limited to the FLT product series. With a bit of imagination, you can also use it for mounting radiators or other products with 120/140 mm fan mounts.

Availability and Pricing
The EK-Loop Angled Brackets are made in Slovenia, Europe, and are available for pre-order through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. This product is expected to ship out mid-November 2023. The table below shows the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), VAT included.

Why? Seems to be taking away cooling capacity?

Nice, this adds flexibility that I am not aware of any current product for.

It blocks airflow.
You realize the alternative for most of these products is blocking the rad completely right?

It blocks airflow.
It'd be the hot air that leaves the radiator, it wouldn't restrict anything that's relevant. It'd divert the air going out the rad, air that's going to be exhausted anyway with proper airflow.

How is this taking away cooling capacity ?
using the fan slot but not for a fan. not using the surface area efficiently.

I don't really see the point in having this though is the thing, why? Is it for SFF? Is it for people that don't have a PC case for proper watercooling but still want a custom loop so you can just mount your pump to the rad now?

The fans are mounted to the front of the rad and this is mounted to the reverse.

Yep, it can be geared towards people with mid ATX and smaller cases or those that can't bottom mount their pump/res. This revision is actually better than the original in that it allows the distro or pump/res to allow some airflow. The original version flush mounts to the back of the rad almost completely blocking airflow.

I have my distro/pump mounted on the back of a rad as well and I have a huge case. This is very common.
using the fan slot but not for a fan.
I am pretty sure you can mount this over the fan as well if the screw is long enough, I did that as well in my case.

I'm surprised they're not asking $400 for these.
They aren't, so be happy :)

~30 euros isn't too bad. You could make something similar yourself with cheaper materials or find a suitable bracket at a hardware store, but the results would vary depending on how fussy or skilled you are and the patience you have in finding/making something that fits. Having a ready-made product is admittedly a huge convenience and has the "factory-fit" feel to it.
