Homeworld 3 Gets PC System Requirements

I clicked the trailer thinking I will hear a new version of

At this point I'd just be happy with it being a competently made game. RTS has really been out in the desert for a while now that MOBAs have basically eaten the entire genre's lunch.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a relatively chill HW1 like experience where the missions are often more like puzzles than giant meatball of death style battles (where HW2 took the series). I have my doubts but we'll see. Looks like its Blackbird at the helm, not Relic, so there is definitely a better chance of the game not being a complete waste.

The ambiance of HW1 was pretty good too. It felt like you were in deep cold space. Especially when playing late nights in winter.

Seems silly and a waste of performance.
Don't turn it on then? easy. For those who have the headroom, and want the best effects, they can enable it. Such is the life of optional features.

This is only going to keep happening, more and more games will have RT /PT effects right up until they stop faking it altogether.

It's excellent to see the system requirements don't directly involve the use of upscaling, it's equally awesome that both FSR and DLSS are included however, because developers would be absolutely foolish not to include the,.

This game series is/was a masterpiece. I really hope they didn't ruin Homeworld 3.

I would spend hours upon hours getting lost in that Universe; It still has some of the best in-game music, the graphics still hold up well, the gameplay is fantastic when you master the controls, and the storyline is intriguing as it unfolds. This game was, how to describe it, elegant.

It would be really nice. The only other RTS on my radar is Sins II, which is an epic exclusive....ugh.

Yes, I really loved the homeworld 1, haven't played the 2, but by your comments it must have been good as well.
Waiting for this to come out as well.

Found an interesting video while we are waiting for Homeworld 3

I wish they would release 3D printable files in .stl, for the mothership. I mean the Collector's edition is $174,99.....that's steep for a pack of cards, a keychain, a poster, a mothership, fighters and a frigate. Not sure if it included the art work book, but still.....give me the model of the mothership. They would still make extra cash from that.
