Any advice or if this is a good start for parts? I have a thermaltake 900 case so space is not an issue.

The question is why are you dropping $500 to watercool a RTX 3090?

Cause its for getting feet wet into custom cooling, I don't have the money to do both get a new videocard/computer and do water cooling so its sort of a choice between the two.

and I have to get the parts anyways if i plan to future custom water cool a 4090 in the future, so realisticly this is a test run.

They have pretty much everything you would ever need, pumps, blocks, fittings extensions. Some times the site is little rough, but they are easy to work with if you need to send something back. I got black light tubes for my case, one of them would only light up about half way, since they didnt have another, just offered credit for both, and I didnt have to send them back.

Because $300+ for a GPU block its highway robbery.

Thats some pretty cool stuff, but I sort of want to move away from aios, I really am looking to get into custom loops, Its sort of a learning experience for me, XD. But price wise Canadian im paying about that much for a decent waterblock everything price wise to canadian from american its about 300 dollars XD not unless i get a super cheap one which i don't. Ill probably look through the alpha cool site, though other then that do the parts i have chosen look ok? I tried to stick to the same 1/4 and ID and OD through out with QDC's

and made sure they were all copper and nickle, I just want to make sure I did not miss anything.

I get all my stuff through titanrigs these days. Good deals on clearance stuff. $125 for 3080 Ti block I bought. $100 for 3090 Ti block. Just need to keep an eye out for stuff.

100$ for some quick disconnects is a serious waste of money unless for some reason you really need to unplug something all the time.

I am assuming you're going for a pump and reservoir combo, you need 2x fittings for each component, so you'll need 6x fittings out of which maybe 2x should be 90 degree to make the routing easier. Make sure everything is the same diameter as the tubing.

300$ for the block is really expensive as someone else already said, you need to look around for something cheaper otherwise this is really not worth it even if you're just looking to get started, I paid 150 euro for my 7900XT block and even that's pretty expensive but it was the only one available.

The Alphacool unit is expandable. It has quick connect cables that make Water Cooling much easier to maintain.

Buy used where you can and have a case that is ideal for rads, at least 360mm and ideally 480mm. Buy quality gear you can keep using for a decade, etc etc. I try to stay away from bling crap from EK, function over form. Most of my gear is years old and over the years my war chest is rather complete, many spares, qdc, fittings, etc etc. My AP15 fans are a decade old by now lol. Build up over time... When starting out stick to the absolute necessary, like suggested don't blow your budget on qdc now etc etc.

The connector heads yes but the tubing is regular soft tubing. With the RGB the focus would be the Waterblock and not the connectors. I will give you an example of how flexible they are. I had a Vega 64 on water and when I got my 6800XT I put that on water. To change the GPU I disconnected (Unscrewed) the 2 lines from the GPU, removed it, put the new block in and add fluid. Corsair made a NVME with G 1/4 ports. I was intrigued, I tried it and it changed the GPU temp so I took it out. Took me 5 minutes. When I got my 7900XTX I did something to mess it up and had to send it back. I got my refund and got a 7900XT instead. The block for the XTX fit the XT. Now my GPU is in the low 50s in any Game. When my next GPU comes the same thing will apply. With Quick connect you are free to change the pump/res, rad, and block(s) to your heart's desire without having to drain the loop. That for me trumps the plastic that is the head.

That's where I buy most of my gears which it's reasonable price for Canadian.

I have soft tube for sure but not sure if they are 3/8 ID and 1/2 OD, they are black. Those I know I have if you want them, and you are willing to pay for shipping they are your.
