AMD today released the latest version of the Ryzen Chipset Software. Version 6.02.07.2300 WHQL updates the driver versions of its various component drivers, and is applicable to AMD 300-series through 600-series desktop chipsets; and TRX and WRX series Ryzen Threadripper chipsets. The version also identifies a few issues that will be addressed in future updates, such as non-English driver names appearing in the English language selection; incorrect Uninstall log when uninstallation fails; and a failure to upgrade Ryzen PPKG.

The installer from AMD has now been fixed, and we are now hosting the 6.02.07.2300 driver.

The installer AMD provided and the one currently live on their site is broken. We will update the post when a working version goes live.

common AMD L
their last three GPU drivers are basically broken and unstable early beta releases.
now the chipset drivers are broken... come on. Fire these clowns and hire professionals.

both don't work for me (same error as with the Original file)

Could they be more specific what bugs are fixed.

Even though it is published today, the driver is dated 7 February. By the way, there is already 6.02.22.53, which is 22 February. It was already available on 6 March.

I'm on the Feb 7 currently.

I will give this abit of time for AMD to fix the primary link before I update anything.

the last 4 chipset for AM4 had big problem with AMD Power man. if you update the AMD Ryzen Power Plan / AMD Processor Power Management Support ver you cpu will stay at high cpu voltage (about 1V at 3GHZ instead of 0.736V at 2.3GHZ). also big voltage jump.

the old AMD Ryzen Power Plan / AMD Processor Power Management Support work fine. all the last 3 update had bug

* test on 5600G A520 at idle 0.736V 2.3GHZ 20W from wall.

this update file old then from amd site. by the was the last chipset udapte had no change of file ver

the gpu driver 24.1.1 work the best, load time and stability. i dont see any problem with download the file from amd website.

yea this "bugs fixed" thing is really getting old. ALL companies are doing this now, like they either cant be bothered to tell us or they really didn't fix anything. Nintendo is famous for this in every update from ds to wii to switch, for example.

Still broken from AMD website, oh and @VulkanBros direct download links to the .exe don't work, Windows smartscreen throws up an unknown app and stops it from running without bypassing it and then I get the same installer error as others, bloody hell AMD did you even check it worked

Neither the AMD version nor the TPU dwl works on my x570 chipset - seems strange that they upload it without WHQL

Just tried again still broken, leave it to AMD to release broken drivers and have them up like this all day...

edit: confirmed AMD's link is fixed on 3/14, running latest drivers on Win11 zero issues.

Big shout out to all the beta testers. I never install AMD drivers for at least 1-2 weeks to get a good fell for any issues. I'm not using the latest v24 GPU drivers either due to too many reports of stuttering and the latest v23 being fine.

Decent release notes are half the reason I miss Intel motherboards. It continued with the NUCs, but now that ASUS has taken over, I guess we'll have to settle for "enhance system stability", and maybe an "improve memory compatibility" if they're feeling extra verbose.

I only know Gigabyte and MSI does update their motherboard drivers quite often so the AMD chipset driver can be installed.
Despite it may not be the same version or older at least the chipset driver is stable and has no issues.
ASUS and ASROCK does not update their motherboard chipset often so the version can be very backdated.
Recently I had a hell of time wasted due to rubbish AMD Adrenalin 24.2.1 software which is causing stability issues.
Point here is I will always use driver from manufacturer than AMD website if there's any which isn't too backdated.
AMD graphic card driver wise have to play around, not all version are stable and stable like the AMD Adrenalin 24.2.1 driver.

seems to be fixed now.
downloaded it directly from AMD and it works.
