AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D Now at a Mouth-watering $329

Oh you don't think 55% of MSRP is a disappointment for AMD?
I don't really care if it's disappointment for them. It's a win for consumers who find this SKU interesting for their needs. At this price, it's a no brainer CPU. If they release similar 9900X3D, and with good price, I'd be certainly very tempted to buy it, as I plan an upgrade next year.

7800x3d is $216 at Microcenter, you add any mobo/ram you want to your cart, then add the 7800x3d. Just ordered mine, going to return the 12600kf since I am within return window. this is an absolutely incredible deal I can not pass on.

only way to get this price is in-person at Microcenter, and only way to get the $216 price is if you buy all 3 items as a bundle.

I have no fucking idea how Microcenter pulls off these prices. holy shit, this is incredible.
they sell the CPU as a loss leader to get you into the door. Mobos and RAM kits have better margins for them. They will price match for Amazon sold & shipped items

that business model has never worked for me, I always just do "pick up in person" order, then go straight to online pick up and straight out the store. lol

AMD knew this, and that's why they didn't send it to reviewers, unlike the other two models.

You and I know that is the real reason you have so much disregard for the chip. It was not sampled so it must be bad. I also love how all of the chips are the exact same price.

The 7900X3D should have been 8 + 4 cores, not 6 + 6.
If possible.
I am surprised no one has mentioned this, so I might be mistaken. But from what I understand, this is not at all possible. All Zen CPUs must have the same number of cores in every CCX due to the design of the interconnect.
