ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the Archer ErgoAir Gaming Backpack BP3800. With a capacity of 40 liters, the versatile Archer ErgoAir features a detachable top pouch that can double as a small day pack plus an additional accessories pouch, a waterproof cover, and two concealed pockets. The backpack is made of lightweight 200D nylon and includes a breathable foam backrest. Inside, there's more than enough room to accommodate up to an 18-inch gaming laptop, along with accessories and other essentials.

The Archer ErgoAir is designed to adapt to any situation. Its 200D nylon construction resists light showers, and the waterproof rain cover is available on standby should the weather deteriorate. The pack's top pouch features multiple compartments, including a fleece-lined sleeve for sunglasses. It can be used to store smaller items or detached to be used as a waist or crossbody bag. Closing the bag is easy, either via drawstring or folding down the roll-top.

Easy work, even with heavy loads
The Archer ErgoAir boasts foam-padded and Lycra-lined shoulder straps, adjustable waist and chest straps, and a breathable backrest allowing the wearer to comfortably carry heavy loads. The backrest has an airflow-tunnel design that keeps the wearer cool when on the move.

The tech accessories pouch is ideal for devices like the ROG Ally gaming handheld, or a laptop power adapter and its cables, or peripherals such as a mouse. Numerous side and concealed pockets further highlight the backpack's versatility, allowing gamers to stay organized, even when fully loaded with gear.

How can they call this a gaming backpack when it has neither RGB nor overclocking capabilities? That's outrageous.

But...

But.......

It DOES have that silly, annoying AF ROG'r logo, so there's that, heeheehee :)

OTOH, this looks eerily similar to the backpack my son bought a few years ago when he started college, which can also hold his 18" lappy, and has all the same features, and I'm 100% certain that it was way less $$ than AsSus wants for this one....

Yes, just what i need to tell a thief what their chances are of what they are stealing.

"For those, who dare!"

On a serious note, I wonder who are these id... target audience. I'm sure, that for the money Asus asks for this thing, it's possible to buy something rugged, with at least 500D.

I dont think it's a good idea to walk around with ROG on your back some places/people might know and mug and or cup you.

It's nice to be discrete.

Same first idea.

Exactly.

Not even sure why someone would need such things... I am good with my brand of bags(Tasmanian Tiger) for each specific need ie my camera bag or daily...

Nice design, can't wait the counterf-, uhm, "repro" models to appear in dollar stores worldwide

Totally missed opportunity here to make a Baickpaick

It's rebranded chinesium

Looks cool but not "must have".
Would only be interested if it can fit an itx case like my bayerdynamic bag.

If you're referring to the AsSus one, then I agree...

However, if you were referring to the one my son has, then you'd be 100% wronk, because he absolutely REFUSES to buy any chinesium/slave labor-produced clothing or accessories whatsoever :)
