Suddenly it dawned on me.

They desperately need Raja back at the helm! Engineer, has experience, did not blow up a company yet, just some business units. Great PR acumen, too.

And he can hold chips in front of the camera and smile! If he doesn't drop them.

That smile while holding the new CPU is the only thing people & shareholders value in a CEO... they can actually flip everyone off and not affect share price.

While that's true, and very valuable, it doesn't make automagically for a great CEO.

That was in the context of Arc Alchemist, even with the issues it had. They needed to release it to fix the issues properly.
