What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Although, Ubisoft slated two titles in the previous post, it's now balancing with the announcement of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, a sequel to the Sin City-based tactical shooter released in 2006. The game, which Ubisoft said is planned for "next-generation consoles and PC," is scheduled for release in March 2008 to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Rainbow Six gaming franchise. In an announcement today, Ubisoft didn't reveal much about the upcoming game but promised improved graphics, new gameplay features and new Vegas settings. The tactical solo campaign will return, and the sequel will build on its predecessor's popular multiplayer modes. Co-op and adversarial multiplayer will return, and Vegas 2 will provide "unprecedented interaction between the solo and multiplayer modes," Ubisoft said. "We are convinced that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will remain a pioneer in the highly competitive first person shooter genre, bringing more of what Rainbow Six fans love to the table.", he also added.

LOL. heard more fans complaining about it than liking it.

Complaining about the first one? I thought it was excellent and fun both on and offline. Looking forward to this.

Same here.

If its anything like the first one it should be brilliant. (on the 360)

The first Rainbow Six Vegas game was probably the biggest dissapointment in gaming history I have experienced. Ok maybe not the biggest but it was BIG.

But then thats coming from someone who enjoyed the old Rogue Spear and Raven Shield.

I own every Rainbow Six since the beginning, I like Vegas but it's not really a favorite. My favorites are:

The Original
Rouge Spear
Raven Shield

I personally thought it was the best rainbow six of all time. That's because they allowed that splinter cell like movement of hiding that you don't get in counter strike :rockout:

sounds brilliant but i hope it comes out for the PS2 or the WII so that I can play....;)

the first one was pretty fun although it is pretty damm hard multiplayer was fun cant wait to see what the second is like i dont get why they have to make the tom clancy games so hard i get that they are trying to go for the whole realism aspect but still sometimes it gets anoying

Yes for sure the best of them all. Tom Clancy RvS \ GR are just pushed out as fast as possible these days for maximum buch with not true thought about TRUE game play with true COOP. BUT i guess thats why i prefure just to play games made on the VBS \VBS2 game engine.

damn they keep milking it which hurts the multiplayer gaming. since theres so many to play graw 1,graw 2 r6 vegas now r6 vegas 2.

I only recently added the original rb6 to my collection, already after i had played Vegas, so I just couldn't stand some things about it. I did like the fact you had total control over the team, since Vegas, only gives you two guys, maybe a hostage once in a while, who needs an escort, but no-one else to control, but the story is kinda interesting.
I hope Vegas 2 can be better though, since I and my fps gaming friends really liked Vegas.

Thats because it's about money and not quality

Thats cool! I like the RS:V on the 360. Took me awhile to beat it due to the second to last mission. Drove me nuts tryin to figure what to do. Hope this new game rocks!

If thats true completely then that means that Ubisoft is now the next Electronic Arts. I sure hope I don't have to start boycotting their games as well in the coming future:cry:

I really enjoy vegas for coop and the campaign.... Honestly the pvp in the game is horrible imo.. But that doesn't change my opinion that I love the game.

Vegas 2? Okay.... I'll probably buy.

What does the flashing sheild mean on the right hand side when you start a match?
