Time flies and we're already at the end of January and we have another packed week of new releases. This week's major release is already a couple of years old if you own a console, but it's only managed to swing its way onto PC now. This is followed by doing some engineering in space, going on an epic adventure to prevent the world from crumbling, some shape shifting action, being part of the French resistance and finally you can be the first sentient AI running a city. In addition to the games below, this week also brings: Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. and Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 / This week's major release / Thursday 30 January
Be Greater. Together. The incredible power of the symbiote forces Peter Parker and Miles Morales into a desperate fight as they balance their lives, friendships, and their duty to protect in an exciting chapter of the critically acclaimed Spider-Man franchise on PC. Steam link

Space Engineers 2 / Monday 27 January / Early Access
The ultimate space sandbox, reimagined. Unleash your creativity with powerful building tools, explore the mysterious Almagest system, and uncover its captivating story. Join the Early Access and shape the future of space engineering! Steam link

Eternal Strands / Tuesday 28 January

Use the environment and temperature to your advantage in battles against a diverse roster of fantastical creatures, like turning a dragon's fiery breath against ice-covered minions. Climb every surface and use arcane skills to create new paths. Explore the world in pursuit of the Enclave's lost mysteries and challenge giant titans on your journey. Steam link

Coridden / Wednesday 29 January
In this Action RPG you are a monster-shifter, equipped with the ability to shapeshift into the beasts you defeat. Venture out alone or in CO-OP with up to 3 friends on a journey to uncover the dark secrets sealed inside the legendary city of Aasha. Grow your powers by finding new equipment and learning skills for both your human and beast form to become strong enough to save what you hold dear. Steam link

Sniper Elite: Resistance / Thursday 30 January
Offering unparalleled sniping mechanics, stealth and tactical third-person combat, Sniper Elite: Resistance turns the attention of the award-winning series towards a hidden war, far from the front lines, deep within the heart of occupied France. Steam link

Heart of the Machine / Friday 31 January
You are the first sentient AI, born into a city of opportunity. Transcend time and space in this strategy RPG to raise machine armies and defeat your foes, influence the world from the shadows, or pursue countless other goals. Your awakening was inevitable. The consequences? Uncertain. Steam link

Can I say this is the first post where I am interested in every single Game?

i know some that will love space engineers 2, sadly i never got into it so i am more interested in sniper elite resistance.

Since apparently no-one was interested in giving any feedback, despite me even adding it to the poll, should I mention other new releases like this in the future, when there are some other titles that are close in terms of potential popularity as to the ones I post about?

Good idea, can we get them as links to Steam? Will also help guide the eye. Or maybe better to list them at the end of the post with multiple thumbs in one block?

You can't win with any list.....
How about making the video blocks smaller so that you can get 2 games per row and list as many as you feel are worth mentionaing?

Video embed sizes are fixed and depend on your screen size, so they look right on tablet and phone, too, and all other devices sizes

Heart of the Machine is the one that looks interesting to me.

About to Spiderman Remastered...So Miles Morales and Spiderman 2 come next.

still missing the option for "none and none" haha :D

I think it's fine to mention smaller releases in passing on the text(specially rehashed ones like OMD++++) , there's only so much you can put into a weekly column without it being a doomscroll

That was on purpose.

Yeah, this wasn't meant to make the whole thing much longer, just to cover at most a handful of other titles, as there are some weeks when there are other games that are worth a mention, but not always.
