All of southeast asia could benefit from this in the long run. I work with guys in the Philippines and Singapore regularly, and the tech world is going strong out there in the pacific.
Singapore used to be a lot stronger than they are today, but unfortunately it's a semi-dictatorship that is very pro xina.
See above about the Philippines.

If they can find training camps in the desert maybe some sleuths can figure out where this promotional material was filmed

I believe Mystery Ranch still make their higher end gear in America but a lot of their production went to Vietnam.
It seems to be their Shenzhen factory. I've been to the Kunshan one, but that was over a decade ago.

We'll see. I think we should just lay back and let the fool do his destroying. The little Gaza move is already backfiring nicely. The man's the laughing stock of the world rn.
He was given a nice memento...

what we need is to move away from US craziness, not so much from China.
As soon as any other country has some surplus over the US they will be moving the factory again and finding something else to be outraged about. It's very common to go to Vietnam now, and they already have a big surplus, guess what is coming next?

Vietnam is probably cheaper than China to manufacture stuff.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it yet. A lot of these moves are more about triggering more favorable trade negotiations. I would be perfectly fine paying %10 to %20 more for an ASRock motherboard if it also meant the IRS & Federal Income Tax could be completely disbanded and replaced with Tariff based revenue also forcing the Gov't to shrink to some more reasonable level from the Tax money wasting/leaking goliath that it currently is. (sorry for the run on sentence)

Maybe the tariffs should instead go to paying down the debt, and keeping income tax to pay for a downsized social safety net... 36 trillion and counting, if we don't pay it down soon, it's all over.

Mods? Is political talk allowed now, I have no idea anymore, seems to be as these posts are oldish.

Nope. From the forum guidelines:
Avoid political or religious comment unless it is specifically relevant to a topic and in those cases is only acceptable if done in an unbiased manner.

Hopefully y'all got it out of your systems. Please don't do this again.
