NVIDIA today released to market the GeForce RTX 5070 performance segment graphics card for maxed out gaming at 1440p with ray tracing. Based on the "Blackwell" graphics architecture, the RTX 5070 gets a few of the latest features, including Neural Rendering, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and an updated ray tracing hardware that's ready for Mega Geometry. The RTX 5070 debuts the new 5 nm "GB205" silicon, a mid-sized GPU featuring a well-rounded 50 SM or 6,400 CUDA cores. The RTX 5070 almost maxes this out, with 48 SM or 6,144 CUDA cores on tap.

Other key specs of the RTX 5070 include 192 Tensor cores, 48 RT cores, 192 TMUs, and 80 ROPs. The SKU also gets all 48 MB of L2 cache present on the silicon. When compared to the previous generation RTX 4070, these counts see a numerical increase. The RTX 4070 has 64 ROPs and 36 MB of cache. While the memory size is unchanged at 12 GB, the memory bandwidth sees an increase by 33% thanks to the new 28 Gbps GDDR7 memory being used. The RTX 5070 has a starting price of $550, but real-world pricing could easily reach $700, if not more.

Not a word on paper launch? Why? Out of stock on Newegg and Microcenter.

Wouldn't "going on sale" mean that it's discounted?
"becomes available" would make more sense to me, even more becuase none will be at or below MSRP.

How many units dozen or none?
Like the rest of the 5000-series, each GPU is being individually hand-crafted by a single artisanal assembly operative somewhere in Taiwan.

Didn't they say the FE is not actually going to be available for sale yet lol what. They're trying so hard to steal AMD's thunder and they're still fumbling and stumbling around.

DOA, might as well have gotten a 4070 Super last year and spared yourself the trouble. Only way they can salvage this one is by putting 3GB modules on it, but NVIDIA's sandbagging hard this is terrible.

sorry for the confusion, the product is not available. Today is the launch of the product store pages where you can see some price targets while the card still isn't available. Availability of actual products are at a future date yet to be determined.

No, it means it is available to buy, and the results are in, that is a lie.

that is a lie.
The availability or the price?
Just here, even the reseller that usually has nVidia at day-1, has them on pre-order which means no stock (according to them, until the 10th and deliveries starting on the 11th).
Other retailers haven't even listed them.
Also the prices could not be further from 579€ (Usually the ~30EUR difference from the USA's reference MSRP).
