Sapphire Radeon RX 9070 XT Nitro+

UK etailer websites being destroyed by scalper bots ATM, throwing 5xx status codes left right and centre.

Some cards were available for ~820eur here, with 30% VAT and tax included (~50 eur over MSRP). We're a very small market, so there's no excuse for those prices you guys are seeing.

Pointlessly, I might add. All the cards are gone.

RX 9070 XT is a great gpu for 600-650€ but for 850€ it really stinks. Whole p/p radio are going to nowhere. People shouldn't buy RX 9070 XT when it costs over 700€ otherwise we are going nvidia's route.

Local Microcenter says it still has plenty in stock. A decent number at MSRP too. It seems to be a retailer problem since some of the same models that are $730 at Newegg/Amazon are $600 at MC.

You do realize the MSRP doesn't include VAT and other taxes? 600$ = 560eur +20% VAT + other taxes = 670 eur to 720 eur.

Historically speaking, $1 MSRP = £1 retail. Now, with the new tariffs and whatnot, who knows how the equation will work.

RX 7800 XT with vat included was cheaper than that that's for sure! So there may be tariffs +10% or no tariffs for europe?

We can only urge people on this forum not to. Unfortunately, we're a small minority.

Well I tried to get one this morning. Order went through on Newegg but then they cancelled it about 10 minutes later due to insufficient supply.

Yep, I can't get my hands on one, been trying solidly for 83 minutes.
It feels like bots, nothing else can DDOS sites the way an army of scalper bots can.

They are using the same tactics as nvidia most likely! All msrp models are just mirage for idiots supply is not big enough (artificially)

How is that even possible? Don't they have some kind of stocking system that stops orders from going through when stock has run out?

I was prepare to pay MSRP + 10% but in Poland average price was $778 after deducting tax. Stock last few minutes.
Looks like my RDNA2 will serve me one more gen.

Same. The one by my house had over 100 units at MSRP. The inflated priced models were sitting on the shelves in high quantity

Just came from the shop down stairs, it's a franchise of the 3rd or 4th biggest chain of stores in the pc market on the country, plus they use additional suppliers including the ones from the two biggest store chains.

They can't get any 9070xts or 9070s, the owner told me tha according to suppliers only the two biggest stores got supply and there are 0 MSRP models allocated to the entire country.

PS: it seems that there where 2 sapphire pulse on the market! They where sold for 800€ instead of 700€ so the point still stands.

Been wrestling with the Overclockers website for the past 90 minutes. In roughly the first ten minutes I managed to get both a Sapphire Pulse and the Asrock Steel Legend (the latter is the card I actually wanted) in my cart at the same time. I tried to remove the Pulse from my cart and the site failed to load. When it came back ten minutes later, I still had both cards in there, but the Steel Legend was out of stock - and it wouldn't let me proceed to purchase with an out-of-stock item in the cart. I spent another twenty minutes or so just getting the Asrock card out of my cart, and the time since then has been spent crawling my way through the process of clicking purchase, entering my address, selecting my payment type and entering the payment details. I got as far as actually vaidating the payment request through the banking app... and then the site went down with a "we'll be back soon" message. LOL

**EDIT**
Hot damn, as I was hitting post the site started working again, so I reloaded the browser window I'd been doing the purchase in and I got a confirmation. Phew!!!

Managed to pick up an ‘XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070XT White’ for the Italian MSRP of €694,90.
VAT included of course, as is the practice in Europe.
That's at least seems to be somewhat reasonable. Usually they are selling air for +150-300€ / 850-1000€
