Windows XP SP3 Yields Hefty Performance Boost Over Vista SP1

I remember in some post long ago about a how long it would take monkeys to build computers... See this is how they become that skilled. They first start with simple charts... its vista vs Xp so they think vista should have the higher bar... lol! Darn monkeys! Glad we got them in "planet of the Apes"!!!

I am sure glad they used OfficeBench as the defacto standard for making a blanket statement deterimining Vista vs. XP performance. :wtf:

i know, give me a break. :twitch:

Vista > XP

I use both, but I find Vista to be way better than XP. I will upgrade all my systems to Windows XP SP3 when it's released :)

You mean, (Vista) SP1, 3991? :p

Ah okay. I got confused when you said how much you loved Vista, and then said you were getting the thing that was "worse" than Vista :p.

Oh well. I think I'm just sticking with XP SP2 until I have a compelling reason to move over to Vista.

I *would* upgrade all my rigs to vista, but it won't run on a:
500MHz cpu [AMD K6-2]
433MHz cpu [Slocket'd celeron]
1.4GHz [Athlon XP Palomino]
:(
