Nice, round, convenient 200% scaling for 1440p equivalence to the long series of 27" 1440p units. I have a couple of Samsung's S9 version (that I got on sale for 700 each), and they are a wonderful upgrade over the 1440p 27s. Ended up going to my dad though, and now I wait for the 6K and 8K market to evolve... both claim products shipping in 2025. We shall see.
