im not that bothered about a GPU at the moment, im spending most of my time playing Red Alert 2 online lol you dont need much for a 25 year old game.

GTX 560 Ti (can't use it my PC cannot power cards that need pin power)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M
GT-1030 GDDR5 2GB
SAPLOS GTX 750 Ti GDDR5 4GB (my current)

Those are the only GPUs I have gotten all previous computers were laptops. I joined the PC world very late in mid 2015s by this time I was already 21 or so.

Cards that I have bought myself (had 8600 GT 256 MB on the PC I got from my brother):
HD 6850 -> Crossfire
HD 7870 (DOA -> RMA'd)
GTX 980
GTX 1080 -> SLI (one of them died within a month -> RMA'd)
RTX 2080 Ti -> SLI
RTX 3080 Ti
RTX 4090 (Melted after 15 months -> RMA'd)

Next one RTX 6090?

I've bought 10 cards and 3 of them have died before warranty ended. That's 30% failure rate. Not great
At least got all of them replaced.

Oh and btw, the issue with 7870 out of the box was that it would heat up to 100+ degrees even under the slightest load. It still kinda worked even if it throttled.
1080 just died one day, screen went black and that's all she wrote.
4090 did the 12VHPWR thing.
