Welcome to the last full week of April and this week we have a packed week of new games, especially if you're into various types of RPG games. This week's major release is a RPG that takes place in a Belle Époque inspired world. This is followed by a more traditional RPG game with swords and dragons, a horror survival game, a futuristic RPG with mechs, some classic RTS action with a familiar vibe and finally a Lovecraft inspired horror adventure. There are loads of other games launching this week as well, so check them out at the bottom of the list.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 / This week's major release / Thursday 24 April
Explore an enchanting realm populated by surreal adversaries. Wander through breathtaking landscapes, from the Island of Visages to the Forgotten Battlefield, discovering secrets and hidden quests along the way. Find allies of fortune in creatures of legend. Recruit special companions to access new travel methods and discover secret areas in the World Map. Steam link

Rise of Rebellion / Monday 21 April
"Rise of Rebellion" is a 3D action RPG that pursues the tension of confronting strong enemies and sweating in your hands. People worshiped God and the land where God dwelled. Survive the battlefield by mastering the deep tactics of melee weapons and the energy "Tel energy" derived from the earth. Steam link

Post Trauma / Tuesday 22 April
Post Trauma is a Puzzle Horror Game and Red Soul Games is a small studio made up of fans of old school survival horror. We have taken a lot of inspiration from several genre-defining classics and we hope it shows. Steam link

Dolls Nest / Wednesday 23 April
Dolls Nest is a 3D action game where you can customize mecha girls and explore a ruined world. As a Frame Unit, your adventure will pit you against the gigantic autonomous factory world of Hod. Overcome obstacles using the parts at your disposal and uncover the mysteries that lie at its center. Steam link

Tempest Rising / Thursday 24 April
Take on the role of Commander in the highly mobile and advanced peacekeeping corps of the Global Defense Forces or the hard-hitting and desperate Tempest Dynasty in 2 11-mission campaigns that allow the player to customize their army for each mission, as both armies seek to understand and control the mysterious but beneficial Tempest vines that grow unchecked across the war-torn planet Earth. Steam link

Tempest Rising is actually already available, even with the standard edition.

Well, the official launch date is still listed as the 24th.

I've tried Tempest Rising's early demo thats not available on STEAM anymore cause it was too dated after further development of the game but to me even that demo was pretty good. 'gave me good ol C&C vibes'

Other than that Expedition 33 kinda interests me, usually I'm not really into that kind of gameplay but this one looks like a mix of different types and I like the art style too so I will keep an eye on that game. 'could be a hidden gem for me or a complete disaster:laugh:'

They really goofed the Tempest Rising launch, there's two versions of the game; Standard & Deluxe, & both give you "7 days early access" :D if I'd bought Deluxe wanting to get 7 days of early access over the Standard buying plebs I'd be mad! I've not pulled the trigger yet, but I will, just deciding whether to go cdkeys for £26.99 for the Standard or get it on Steam for the full £34.99. I wish there was reliable information on whether buying on cdkeys gets the developers the same money or not.

Tempest Rising looks and feels like a pure C&C, in the most positive way possible :D

Once Upon a Puppet gets my vote this week. I always enjoy a novel idea, a peculiar setting, unique visual style, and original mechanics. This game has it all.
Also, how could you not support a studio called Flatter Than Earth? :D

I hope expedition 33 is good, about everything appeals to me but we have yet to see if Sandfall Interactive can stick the landing. I have nothing to go off since it's their first game.

Definitely looking forward to Expedition 33, there's been a dearth of good, quality single player offline JRPGs, and the market is ripe for it.

Dolls nest is a weird blend of ghost in the shell, armoured core, Nier automata, Goddess of Victory: Nikke/Azur Lane

Dont forget supposedly Oblivion Remake shadow drop is going to happen sometime this week.. So between that and 33 its gonna be a good week for RPG

wtf is that necrophosis ? look like prometheus and dune had a baby

Oh, Tempest Rising looks good. :lovetpu:

Reviews are out. Performance doesn't seem to be a problem. All systems go.

I hope they make all the money.
