Every new game has DLSS. Why do we need an article like this every time a game gets released? :wtf:

I utilize DLSS a lot. I appreciate the articles.
That's cool, but like I said, every new game has DLSS. You don't need an article to know this.

It's NVIDIA. They need to push their marketing BS everywhere to drown away the endless months long issues with drivers that they just can't seem to fix.

So is FSR4 and you don't see it plastered all over the place...
This, too. The amount of Nvidia advertising we get these days is sickening. I wonder how much TPU gets from this.

Just another reason why I won't buy nVidia. Their business practices in general are pretty sickening. I don't care if they have the best hardware, I don't want my money supporting them if it can be avoided. I should also use the term "best" lightly. I don't see AMD GPUs melting power connectors.

They don't have the best hardware. They have the 5090 which is the fastest GPU available today (and the most expensive one ever). The rest of the stack is pretty much the same as AMD's, just more expensive and with less VRAM.

does AMD have a 4090 equivalent?

That's not my point.
My point is that offering a performance tier that AMD doesn't is not the same thing as "having the best hardware".

Forget DLSS 4. How about the nVidia video drivers??? The current 50x0 ones are the worst of the worst from the whole history of nvidia, and that's no exaggeration. Never in my life had so many issues with the graphics drivers.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Notice that I never said anything about "having the best hardware."
You'll also what to qualify what you mean by "best." Do you mean best performing, best build quality, best bang-for-your-buck, best power efficiency, etc?

Fair enough. :)

The term "best" on its own means a combination of things to me. You have to excel in several areas to be "the best" without saying what at. As of the 50-series, the only advantage Nvidia has is CUDA, unless your productivity app supports ROCm. I didn't even mention DLSS, because there's FSR 4 now. You can't be the best when you've only got one card up your sleeve, imo, especially when that one card comes with a price disadvantage. Even having the 5080 and 5090 doesn't make it the best, imo, because that's just a performance tier on its own. If you need that for whatever reason, then of course you'll buy that card. Saying it's the best is like saying that coca cola is the best choice for people who want some coca cola. Well, obviously... Is it the best beverage, though? Doubtful.

TLDR: The best means the best choice for everyone, not just for a select group of people who want one feature, imo.
