Wow that cable manafement is a mess in there.:fear:Good video though.:)
Should have a moment with his PC.

I mean, whenever I build a PC, I spend most of the time with cables.

Had the black SLK3000B as a teen, got it as a Christmas present from my mom in 2006 IIRC :) hate that I sold my PC in that case few years later, I loved that case.
I see that there are six of those cases on eBay uk all new under £65.:)

Had to put up a PC which has a PATA interface to interact with my PS2 HDD when needed, so why not AM3 for a while instead of LGA775? :)

Are you sure you want to copy this file without its properties?
Copying a ISO to VENTOY Fat. drive.
how do i get the properties?
And what are the properties that are not there?

You mean exFAT, or FAT/FAT32?
In that other topic we talk about exFAT.

But when it is FAT, it doesnt work. FAT/FAT32 doesnt support files from 6.4 GB

That is what Ventoy does for you.

What if you press "Yes"when you get that message? Does it copy the ISO file to the Ventoy USB Drive?

These parts are from scrappers obviously, in some poor condition, i would not get most of these, aside from good stuff like the BX2000+, s8 mobo, P3B-F (these tend to die much too), never liked parts in sorry state. But good some ppl dont think that way and still save stuff, i always sell/trade the stuff that are in poor state, just like parts to be as close to factory state as possible, as storage space is problem, when u have shit load of stuff, makes sense... Still if u have 5-10 of the same high end stuff like P3B-F, u can sell/ trade half and get stuff u dont have, the usual deal i do at least...

Radeon HD2600 Pro AGP tested.. Seems some element of the top DVI is busted...

Did repair this VaporX, as i got it for the working fans and shroud, as my working one, had no fans and shroud, but ghetto modded PSU fans lol... Then found another VaporX cooler with working fans, so decided to try the blowtorch on the GPU, and after 2 attempts, the card was fixed...

I don't care the state they are in, I am done paying premium prices for almost any boards. I'd rather pay ~880$ for 18 boards and 2GPUs (2x 1950Pro AGP), than pay some stupid premium prices on the bay that would get me way less in quantity.

(50-60 euros per board, singles are 50, duals are 60)

As for the state they come in, I have a whole lot of dead boards to scavenge parts from to fix all the above. From as little as a RAM clip to as big as a BIOS chip.

Also two more boards have been added since. Socket plastic replacements for both, one also needs a CMOS holder, and caps. Will likely polymer one of them. And a Evilking Voodoo3.

Well good for u then, u are doing good work salvaging these parts, from the filthy scrappers... Me on other hand even 2 scratches on a part annoy me, not to mention about fall/ punch damage on parts, or missing stickers, scratched off chipset logos ect... I also refuse to pay ebay prices, so i get stuff locally, everywhere i can, thrift stores, local ad sites, whatever... I rarely get from scrappers, unless what they offer looks well preserved... Ebay is for the rich, that got to buy bitcoins back in 2010-2012 when they were cheap, not for the rest of us, that did not believe in that B$ (like myself), or other that had no money back then.... Or for the insane ones... Tho classic cars, and other classic stuff like watches ect, also cost much, but no one complains about that...

I prefer scrappers above all other options - most of the time any unobtanium board I find shows up there. Flea markets and all that are no longer options as scalpers invade those as well.

U can check very old pc repair shops, they usually have some old collected parts, that they dont need, and are willing to sell for cheap, and they are not on such garbage state... Same for schools, hospitals and others like that, some of them also have still stored vintage stuff... The IBM things i got, were from some goverment buildings from back in the day, the guy i got the things from, told me, that they had years back even IBM PC XTs, sadly they did throw them long ago, but the rest things were from there... Another guy that had few boxes with parts, and few PCs, was working in Lexmark. Others i i remember few was also old PC repair shops, they had stuff too, some others did just stash old stuff, they could not sell back then.... Also local AD would help too, like in facebook marketplace, or craigslist, like "i buy old vintage PCs, parts ect" ...

None are around anymore, the last one closed doors recently and the only thing I got from it was a Velocity 100 3dfx card. Other options aren't available besides the scrapper, because either they sell for high prices (near ebay levels), either they get scooped quick by the greedy scalpers or the gold-retriveing scrappers. The guy I have that gets these parts (bar the Voodoo which was from an classified ad) works with several chaps in the retro community I know of, and his prices are genuinely the best you can get here.

Example - look up prices and availability of ABIT KA7-100 outside eBay. The 50 euro tag I got for that board is absolutely the best.

Long story short, the scrapper I get them from is my best bet of rare boards. I already have someone to take the Socket 8s as I don't have CPUs, and all the other doubles will be restored and sold on.

Jeez 50 euro for ABIT mobo, that is from scrapper with missing heatsink and scratches and stuff, god damn..... Guess i am lucky i find local deals, and most of the time preserved parts, it may not be often, but at least the stuff are in great condition... Everyone is pissed about the prices of old tech, but still the demand is there and even with the inflation, and high cost of living, ppl still look for stuff like these... The x2 Thinkpad T60 i got, i got them for 30 euro both, and when i looked in ebay, the one with Radeon card and IPS display did cost like 200+ $ lol... Or when i found locally brand new under 1 month of use Noctua D15 ChromaX for 50$, instead of its full 120$ price, and replaced my original one, cuz the color of the heatsink did annoy me.....

Locally i still find deals, but they are more and more rare... Years ago i did see ABIT, EPoX, Soltek, AOpen, 3Dfx stuff and other in the craigslist sites here... These days not much, and if i find something i straight buy it, if the price is right, since the moment i hesitate, someone else will snag it, to put it in ebay for sale hah....

They vary in condition but I usually don't care, as long as it POSTs after minor fixes (caps, usually). They can be cleaned afterwards. I still consider his prices are right, given the pricing of other places (classifieds, eBay, and a few others) and the little to no availability anywhere else due to scalpers, gold scrappers and dumb idiots who think they can make a quick buck off the naive people.
