NVIDIA today released the latest version of its GeForce Game Ready drivers. These drivers come with optimization for "DOOM: The Dark Ages," and "New World: Aeternum." The drivers also add G-SYNC support for almost a dozen new monitor models, listed below. There is a rather short list of game-specific bug fixes with this release. To begin with, the drivers address random stability issues with "Monster Hunter Wilds." Also addressed is an issue specific to the RTX 50-series "Blackwell" GPUs, where in "Dead Space Remake," the shadows exhibit a random flicker.

Among the general issues fixed with this release is incorrect color saturation observed on RTX 50-series GPUs when the game is being rendered at a resolution lower than the display's native resolution. Another bug specific to the combination of RTX 50-series GPUs with ASUS PG32UQXR/ASUS ROG PG248QP/ASUS ROG PG32UCDM displays that causes these displays to boot to a black screen, has been fixed. A bug that causes certain LG TVs to exhibit a stutter at lower refresh rates with G-SYNC enabled, has been fixed. Grab the drivers from the link below.

This driver is worst than the previous one. Never happened to me this with any other cards before.
Now the The Last of Us - Part II Remastered crashes in the menu the moment I move the mouse, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle crashes after 10-15 mins of playing and sees texture corruption with path tracing, other games also crash the same after 15-20 mins.
Disabled Resizable BAR, Frame gen, G-Sync.... same; seriously, I kind of gave up with nVidia's drivers. Those are the worst I have ever experienced, and boy, I used to thing AMD's ones were bad during the HD 4870X2 era. Never happened to me before to have so many crashes, so often with a video card before. Literally, I cannot play any game at this moment.

See above. Previously I got crashes after 15-20 minutes. Now 1 game crashes even in menu, while another sees texture corruption with path tracng.... seriously...

yeah i had to roll mine back to dec drivers. its not even a main display card, it kept crashing.

576.28 has been stable for me. I likely will stick with this one considering Nvidia's recent drivers have been absolutely horrible.

i’m rolling back too, my performance dropped a bit,

Other known issues with this driver, weirdly absent from the official notes, but on their official driver thread:

KNOWN ISSUES Below is a list of known issues with the DOOM: The Dark Ages Game Ready drivers, along with their workarounds. We are working to resolve them in an upcoming driver release.

  • Issue: If you are playing on a GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU and enable G-sync (supported display required) or V-SYNC plus DLSS Multi Frame Generation through the NVIDIA App you can crash the game.

    • Resolution: Until there is a driver fix available, the workaround for this issue is to either disable one of these options in the NVIDIA App or if you want both enabled, set them in-game.
  • Issue: Users with NVIDIA GPUs may find that Alt-Tabbing while launching the game can cause the game to launch in the background and not be accessible.

    • Resolution: This is a known driver issue. Until a fix is available in a driver update, to avert this issue, avoid Alt-Tabbing while the game is launching. If encountered, it can be resolved by restarting your PC.
The first, is jsut another fine example of nvidias 50 series driver work, but the second one a pretty wild issue that could affect a lot of people.

Wuthering Waves may randomly crash during gameplay after updating to R575 drivers [5259963]

I've been playing Wuwa since its launch day and for the most part it was very stable on my end but ever since the latest anniversary update of the game I was getting some random crashes while playing an event map/game so I've thought that it must be the game.
Apparently I've also updated to that driver around the same time so ye that might explains it.

I've done a fresh install of W10 and driver version 576.28 last week. It's been stable so far in Fortnite and CS2, not many hours played so far. I've discovered that my screens freeze when I launch Discord. And there's been a performance increase when benchmarking CS2.

Massive Budgets and Unadulterated Skill ;)

The sheer amount of beer that was held when Nvidia said "Hold my beer" shocked the market

Seems whenever I try to play wuwa with rtx 4080 on any R575 driver it crashes non stop a quick fix is to turn off rtx but I don't wanna do this as I bought an rtx card to play with ray tracing on. I guess only fix I've found that lets me play wuwa with rtx on still is reverting to older drivers hopefully soon enough they might fix this though.

Clair Obscur - Expedition 33 Feels like it is running much worse and choppy. Previous driver was smooth.

5 driver releases in 5 weeks :twitch:
And still 566.36 is smoother on a 40-Series :)

Staying there unless i'm being forced to upgrade.

I'm usually playing with both depending on what I'm doing in the game but that cube event did crash with both RT enabled or off tho the DX 11 mode might works better if I'm playing with RT off but that I'm yet to try.
But yea I'm also close to a possible GPU upgrade like in a month so I hope that it will get fixed cause I do like the subtle but nice RT addition in this game.

Yea, another driver, another fail by Nvidia. This one performs worse than previous in most benchmarks/games it seems, at least on the 5080/5090. It's just sad. Since the 50 series launch we've seen performance get worse, then recovered starting with 572.83 with some minor improvements with the next 2 drivers. Now performance is down again.

Based upon that and the headaches I've had with previous 576.xx drivers with my 3080 Ti, I'm sticking to 566.36 myself. TBF, I haven't actually tried today's driver, but I'm disinclined to, based upon feedback and isues I'm seeing around the 'Interwebs'.

Run tested on a couple games, no issues at all on my 2 year old 4070 at least.

Monster Hunter Wilds flickers on the 4080 in the ice area if you have the 4k texture pack on.

@erek which did you have better scores with? We've got 3 NVIDIA cards at the house at the moment, 5090, 4090 and 5070 Ti. Thinking about sticking with 576.28, if that's the one you're referring to. Though DOOM is coming out in a couple of days, so I'll have to update it regardless...
