From the creator of the groundbreaking line of Arctis Nova headsets and Arctis GameBuds, SteelSeries, the original esports brand that fuses gaming and culture, today introduces an ultra-limited-edition 'Glorange' colorway of their award-winning Arctis GameBuds.

The role that gaming plays in moving culture forward is essential and SteelSeries set out to push boundaries and solve problems for those living a "gaming lifestyle" in today's rapidly changing world. The goal was simple, reinvent the world's number one premium gaming headset - within a pair of gaming earbuds. Whether the pain the points are related to the fact that gamers couldn't connect to a PS5 or Xbox via Bluetooth, or the status quo was poor gaming audio quality and bad microphone communications in traditional earbuds, or the inability to utilize a single pair of earbuds across multiple platforms, or fatigue and poor battery life from all-day use, the introduction of SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds solve multiple problems for gamers.

As an industry first, SteelSeries is introducing a unique feature set for gaming earbuds, including Mobile Arctis App connectivity featuring parametric EQ customizations with 200+ game-specific audio presets that can be changed on-the-fly while in-game, 360° Spatial Audio, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a Quick-Switch Wireless System, and stable ultra-low latency wireless 2.4Ghz connectivity with a new USB-C nano dongle, and 10-hour battery life with three extra charges in the case (Total 40H+). The design, development, and engineering required creating a new custom next-gen wireless chipset, co-developed with a key technology partner, that allowed the brand to push the boundaries of innovation. The result is a better player experience and better audio for the games people play - in an all-new form factor.

Through years of innovative and meticulous engineering, SteelSeries is yet again revolutionizing audio console gaming - all through a pair of earbuds. Engineered for the ultimate immersive listening experience for console gaming and designed for all-day use for gaming, music, entertainment, work, play, and more, these are the first gaming earbuds that people will use all day, every day.

  • Fun Fact - 'GLORANGE'. Noun. Pronounced: glor·ange |ˈglˈȯr(-ə)nj. Glorange combines the words "Glory x Orange." It takes the word 'glory' from the SteelSeries brand tagline "For Glory" and fuses it with the 'orange' colorway from the SteelSeries brand colors. Glorange is a group of blended colors between red and yellow in a hue that really glows.

Bluetooth earbuds cannot connect to PS5 or Xbox

Seriously......like wtf M$ & Sony ?????? Is this 2025 or 2005 ?

The ultra-compact 2.4 GHz dongle

Dongle = D.o.friggin.A. IMHO :)

not so sure about the color

Wonder would they work with PS4 via USB-A to USB-C adapter.

I was truly surprised that I can't connect my headphones with BT to PS4, I thought that current gen consoles have fixed this, but looks like not. Wonder why.

I have a pair of the black version of these and the over ear wireless pro version. The 2.4 GHz is what makes the latency low enough to handle fast paced gaming as with bluetooth there is obvious latency issues. I play Tarkov and iRacing with these and can say that they work amazingly well for me. As for the orange, I will have to get a pair simply because that is my color, will match all my Repsol motorcycle decor. LOL.

Bluetooth audio has latency.
And? I can understand that it means something if you're an audio engineer or something who can't have latency, but haven't had any issues in gaming with my bt headphones.

In Tarkov… if you come around a corner before I hear you then that’s a major issue. That’s what latency will do, just has to be micro seconds to be issue.

Never played it so can't say anything about it. Would be interesting to know the exact latency with BT5.x though.

A dedicated 2.4GHz dongle is superior to Bluetooth (5.4) in every way, bandwidth and latency-wise. What you lose is flexibility/convenience on what devices it can be connected to and battery life due to slightly higher power consumption.

20ms to 100ms with standard BT 5.4 (not aptX or such), depending on the host and client devices. Thats pretty noticeable with fast-paced games, especially platformers and FPS.

EDIT: ~20ms is achievable with both host and client being BT 5.4 devices, not just one of them.

On-topic: I like the color. LOL

Ok, thanks. Watching videos etc. I see little off-sync with audio and lip motion but I've already got used to that.

And yeah, that color looks nice, though they're pretty pricey. Though I just now realized that these are some limited editions, normal ones came last year already :D
edit: Product page shows PS4 compatibility. Now I may consider getting a pair at some point.

I'm in a nostalgic mood upon seeing the case color, and would like a translucent orange, teal, or blue plastic PC case, like the styles of the 00s.
