Galax tops off its custom-design GeForce RTX graphics card lines with Hall of Fame (HOF) SKUs, which tend to have not just the highest factory overclocks, but also elaborate VRM and cooling designs meant for professional overclockers to chase down benchmark and OC world records. A striking feature of HOF series cards has been their white color scheme, not just for the cooling solution and backplate, but also the PCB solder-mask underneath. The company is about to take a detour on this, with the new black themed RTX 50-series HOF series. It just teased the first picture of such a card on its Twitter feed. At this point, it's not clear which GPU models Galax will create HOF Black SKUs out of, but it's likely these will be the RTX 5090, and possibly even the RTX 5080. The teaser showcases a 2-tone black cooler shroud, black fan impellers, possibly black anodized aluminium fins on the heatsink, and definitely a black PCB.
