XFX & Acer Radeon RX 9060 XT Graphics Cards Leaked by Retailers - Starting at "$450"

How do you people argue about a products price/performance when you don't know either one? :kookoo:

According to TPU the 16GB version is about 12% BETTER than a 5060Ti 16GB.

Now chew on that while you wait for the actual real numbers.
Over 500 USD/EUR for a lower tier mid-end card is just pure robbery.

AMD, trying to outdo nVidia but in entirely the wrong way…

Avoid Upgrading Your PC for the Next 2–4 Years (Unless You're Rich).

Tech is overpriced right now, and unless you’re sitting on a trust fund, your money is better spent elsewhere. The market will stabilize—better hardware, fairer prices. Until then, hold onto what you have—or consider selling.

Spend wisely. The future will reward patience.

Lot of folks jumping to conclusions in this thread with placeholder pricing. MSRP will absolutely be lower.

That said we know MSRP won't stick and the cards will float upwards in price given what the 9070/5xxx series is doing generally.

You don’t need to be minted to afford a decent gaming rig. But if you’re after Hi-Res, ultra settings and more FPS than the human eye knows what to do with - thats a whole different club with 'entry fees' which we identify as "GPU manufacturers taking the piss".

For the moment, I'm with the 'keep your performance expectations reasonable' club and I wouldn't mind some of your road bike cardio workout... i've been lazy of late. But ~4 years of no-upgrades?? :wtf: - mate, i get nightmares in broad daylight whilst wide awake with GPUs whispering "you can run now.... but in the end you know i'm gonna get ya". I did the maths. I can run, probably hitting 10mph but can't outrun a peed-off ~144fps pixel engine, which concludes: SURRENDER!

Upgrade addiction → wasted time/money. Quit gaming → found peace. No regrets.

Chased frames and upgrades for years—empty consumerism. Quit gaming, unshackled from the grind. Now there's books, nature, real growth. Funny how dropping pixels led to rising perspective. Beyond the screen at last.

I used to obsess over upgrades—always chasing FPS, settings, the next GPU. Now? I quit gaming entirely. At first, it felt like losing part of myself, but now I see how much time, money, and mental energy it wasted.

No more benchmarks, no more FOMO, no more justifying overpriced hardware. I moved on—reading, learning, living offline. Gaming’s fun, but walking away showed me how little any of it really mattered. Now, I just feel relief.

I used to be deep in the upgrade cycle—always chasing higher FPS, better settings, the next big GPU. Looking back, it feels like such a waste. Not just the money (though that’s part of it), but the time, the mental energy, the constant itch for "more" when what I had was already enough.

These days, I’ve left gaming behind entirely. At first, it felt like losing part of my identity, but now? Freeing. No more obsessing over benchmarks, no more justifying expensive hardware, no more FOMO over the next big release. I’ve put that energy into things that actually enrich my life—learning new skills, reading, spending time outdoors.

I get why people cling to it—gaming is fun, and the tech rabbit hole is seductive. But the truth is, you can walk away. And if you do, you might realize how little any of it actually mattered. The hardware, the frames, the hype—it’s all just noise.

Now, when I see threads like this, I don’t feel temptation. Just relief that I’m no longer part of that grind.

I would say that this is odd, but you are the Odd Robert :toast:

I must admit I am reaching the same conclusion, though. It's becoming expensive fast, and the returns are diminishing even faster. As long as you have good performance and the assurance that the manufacturer will support your product well, have fun :)

No need to quit gaming.

I do that 95% of the time... and its a shit-show of complaints, commitments, responsibilities, nagging, errands, deadlines, bills, taxes.... the list is exhaustive. Log back on for 5% and i'm free as a bird, king of my castle, a sword swinging knight in shining armour and a gun wielding warrior like no other.

On a serious note, good on you! I mean that!

How would you like that sir, with spit, or no spit?

Ow.

It's crazy how much faker the MSRP on AMD's side is. Been seeing 9070 XTs listed at the same price as 5070 Tis.

As the Bible / Solomon said:
I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

So... Someday it's time to stop wasting our time with nonsense so we can start doing other nonsense, because we have to do something until the end of our lives comes!

Look at all the people in here complaining about $450 being expensive ffs. All this whilst Ngreedia is ripping off it's customers with astronomical prices. It's unbelievable.

Tom's is saying $299 and $349 for 8 / 16GB.

I think these will fall well under 5060 / 5060 Ti performance for 1440p if they are still using 128bit GDDR 6, so those prices still aren't particularly competitive IMO. Throw in the superiority of DLSS and it looks like more of the same to me.

There is a peculiar number of folks with very low post count being very upset about a random price leak that isn't even leaked as MSRP... :D

the superiority of DLSS
Vanished with FSR 4.

-AMD claims 6% (so basically parity) between the 9060xt 16gb and the 5060ti 8GB, so I doubt there will really be much of a gulf.

8GB might have lower clocks purely for artificial segmentation (and trip on its low VRAM pool in select scenarios), so it could be slower.

So that tells you what the actual current market is demanding. Put simply the 9070 XT is every bit as good as the 5070ti.

Just because something sells at the same price doesn't mean that they're just as good as another product.

Both companies can do bad things you know, it's not either/or.

You didn't really see the FSR4 videos no?
