Lexar at the 2025 Computex showed off its two flagship SSDs. Starting things off is the NM1090, the company's top-of-the-line drive with a 6 nm controller, and 3D Xtracking NAND flash memory that offers up to 14 GB/s sequential reads, with up to 13 GB/s sequential writes, and up to 2.1 million IOPS 4K random access speeds. We have an NM1090 review sample back home, and will review it soon. Next up, is the company's previous flagship, which can now be had for attractive prices, the NM990. This drive offers up to 14 GB/s sequential reads, but slightly lower writes speeds, of up to 11 GB/s.
