During our visit of the jam-packed Computex day one, we stopped by the Phanteks booth to see what the company prepared for this year. The spotlight fell on two new Matrix editions of Phanteks' flagship cases. The Evolv X2 Matrix, offered in black or white, retains the original's sleek tri panel layout while introducing soft touch fabric panels. Beneath the refined surfaces, a 900 LED matrix sits along the bottom section. Through the NEXLINQ app, builders can customize display elements such as system statistics, text or simple animations without compromising the case's clean lines. Likewise, the XT View Matrix model shares the fabric exterior and integrates a 600 LED matrix panel on its side. Despite the added flair, it still accommodates up to ten fans and provides ample space for modern motherboards prioritizing cable management.

Addressing more budget conscious builders, Phanteks revealed the Eclipse G370A. With a full mesh front panel, support for seven fans and a top mounted 360 mm radiator, this case delivers professional grade airflow at an accessible price. It even accepts SSI-EEB motherboards, making it suitable for workstation builds without imposing a significant financial burden.

In the realm of air cooling, the T30-140 fan set a new norm. Constructed from liquid crystal polymer and driven by a six-pole, three-phase motor, it offers high static pressure and durable magnetic bearings. A three mode switch allows users to choose between silent, balanced, or high-performance settings. Advanced Mode pushes maximum performance to 2,500 RPM, while Performance Mode and Hybrid Mode force 2,000 RPM and 1,200 RPM operation, respectively. The X30 fan assembly further enhances the lineup by combining three 120 mm or 140 mm fans into a single, rigid 30 mm thick frame adorned with aluminium accents and DRGB lighting rings for both visual impact and solid performance.

Phanteks also expanded the Glacier EZ-Fit water cooling series. The new compact 120 mm reservoir body fits tighter spaces, while freshly introduced radiators (420 × 30 mm, 360 × 45 mm, and 420 × 45 mm) cater to diverse cooling requirements. A selection of GPU blocks supports NVIDIA's RTX 5090 series and popular models from MSI, ASUS, and GIGABYTE. Distribution plates for the NV5, NV7, and NV9 chassis complete the range, enabling fully customized loops with minimal complexity.

Last but not least, Phanteks showed its AIO water cooler with a massive 6-inch LCD screen mounted on top of the CPU waterblock/pump combo. Called GlacierOne 360M25, this AIO cooler comes designed with clearance in mind as it significantly offsets the LCD screen from motherboard componentry and memory.

$39.99 for T30 140, $115 for 3-pack. I believe there is an error in specs listed here, as they mentioned that it goes up to 2500 rpm only, at least in hardware canucks video:
And this graph seems to confirm that:

Might wanna double check that.

Thanks for spotting this! Fixed!

Look, it’s probably a very good fan, but I would need like 7 of those and that would run… 270 bucks? For fans? I aren’t thinking that, as HLTV forum dwellers would say.

It's suppose to be very good fan for rads, so fair to say it's a very niche group of individuals that will be interested in it. I'm happy with my BeQuiet fans.

@Chomiq
Yeah, I am still running NF-A14s and it’s probably still fine for airflow. Theoretically, these WOULD be an upgrade, just not worth the asking price TBH for that. On rads though… yeah, I can see that.

Edit: best actual fan related purchase I made recently was a handheld air blower, funnily enough. Makes cleaning fans so much less of a hassle.

one thing this news doesnt mention is the fan thickness, 30mm doesnt fit in restricted places meant for 25mm thick fans.

I have been waiting for T30 140s since the 120s came out lol.

But now I don't really need them.. I will still buy 3 :D

I'd guess the T30's are universally known to be 30mm thick, but yeah, the article doesn't mention it even once.

Like the Fractal Design North. smh Instead of mounting the fans in the front nearest to the mesh, they decided to limit fan thickness/screws with a box and only 25mm thick fans can be used

So many cool new products from Phanteks this year!! It makes it really hard to pick a favorite. If I had to pick my top 3 would be, T30-140mm fans, ALL the EZ-Fit products and last but not least the LED matrix X2 case.

The new X2 with the LED kit looks SUPER interesting! Looking forward to the EZFit watercooling hardware for sure!! Great products coming out!

Very nice.

Oh yeah, seems I have to postpone my setup once more for those fans. "Powerful T30-140 mm Fan". Noctua can not deliver. T30 was not on sale recently in my area.

Yep, they were hyping them up and I wanted to use them in my new build... two years ago.

Ended up using cheapo Artics instead, reasonably happy w/ them, so Phanteks lost a sale. Too late.
I too have been waiting for em and now have to redo my build to fit them in.

Me too, but I already have everything. PS120 EVO, 2x T30s for it. 3x T30 140s for the top, and maybe one for the exhaust.

Now I just need them to make 200x38 T30s lol..

200x38mm T-30's would be dream come true like the 140mm T-30's are now!!!

Phanteks is coming in strong at Computex 2025, and while there’s a lot to be excited about, I appreciate the blend of ambition and refinement they’re showing. The Matrix LED cases are different, finally, some innovation in case lighting that doesn’t feel too gimmicky. Customization is only fun if it’s reliable and intuitive though. I also wonder if the matrix can be added on to existing cases? I purchased the Evolv X2 when it launched and it would have been cool if this was optional at the time.

The T30-140 fans looks like it's made of great materials, high-end motor design, and flexibility with the performance modes. That said, I’ll be watching closely to see if they can deliver consistent results against mainstays like Noctua and Arctic once real-world testing rolls in.

Now, the Glacier watercooling gear is what really has me hyped. I’m genuinely excited about what they’re doing there—cleaner reservoirs, smarter layouts, and that 360 combo fan unit looks absolutely sick. It’s got that aggressive, industrial design I love, but seems thoughtfully engineered too. If performance matches the aesthetics, Phanteks might just shake up the custom cooling scene this year.

Overall, it’s a solid showing. Will definitely keeping my eye on this lineup.

I gave up waiting for the T30 140s and ended up just buying some Sunon 140mm high-static pressure fans to serve the same goal, running them at their lowest speeds since they still produce a lot of airflow without too much noise. Given I paid about 30 per fan, it'll probably end up being about the same as new T30-140s, given the cost of existing T30-120s. Still, I do miss not needing to jerry-rig a PWM controller for server fans.

Computex 2024 is why I now have a G400a case but if I didn’t have that I’d be looking at that G370a. I love a slim budget case to build in and that, plus the mesh front, looks promising.
