Better and Compatible Solution Of WiFi for "MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus" mobo: m2 vs PCIe

Hi,
What do you think would be reliable and compatible wifi solution for MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard.
And this is its Network Adapter compatible devices list: .pdf file (click)

1) For m2 this is this product, would it be compatible (would I need an adapter, would it lower perf.):
Wireless AX200 NIC, Gigabit Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6, 802.11AX Standard, Bluetooth 5.2

2) For pcie this product:TP-Link AC1200 Wireless WiFi PCLE Card
TP-Link AC1200 Wireless WiFi PCIe Card
or maybe this if the above is overkill.

What speed do you need and how good is the Wi-Fi?

I would look at something where you have the antennas a bit away from the backside of the computer, especially if the wifi is bad, I use the AX card (but no adapter) and the adapter to PCI-e wont be an issue, however the shielding (or lack thereof) and antenna connectors might be. The budget option will not be more than at best 150mbit, the ax will probably reach 700 under the right circumstances, the tp-link probably around the same.

We live in a rural place. The isp provider provides the wifi router (1 unit). I am actually asking this for a friend. The speed perf would be sufficient as provided by this dongle BUT the signal should not drop. Which is a problem with usb wifi dongles, where you have to unplug the device and plug it back in for connection to resume.

The router is generic isp provided 2 antennae one. Could you look into the motherboard website page and find out if m2 module is compatible. I heard about incompatibility between m, b , e keys or something?
Or go with pcie option. is there compatibility problems with pcie and motherboard model too. Are they as reliable as m2 modules?

Just to confirm: are you going to be running Linux or Windows? The AX2XX series Intel cards have firmware issues on Linux and are a bit finicky (I have an AX210 and have only just recently got it to work well).

Oh, sorry! Should have made it clear before. Windows 11 and or newer (if windows 12 releases).

Just to be clear, only on linux right? Plz say something about compatibility with the said mobo. Isnt there issue between m, b, e key m2 modules. Would you be kind enough to visit the mobo website and find out? please

What about compatibility? All intel m2 modules are 'e' key ones right. Would it fit on the mpg b550 gaming x board?

I did just read the pdf user manual, seems like both of those M.2 slots are M keyed. You'd better go with the PCIe wifi card.
