Here we are again for the last update for today for our Rosetta Pie Stats..... Here we go for the 25th May 2025!!

And there we are, nearly 40,000 points more today and I'm not sure why, but I'm going with it I hope everyone is having a good day and is OK?? Here we are with another little update with the server stats for the project....

And there we have it, another day and another nice drop in the queued jobs on the server... Wonder if we'll see a bigger drop tomorrow.....

@phill - an update on the problem with the none-communication on Boinc Manager and other Linux matters. I followed a guide to download and "Install the stable version of BOINC on Unbuntu 22.04" and ended up with version 8.0.4. The manager started up but the none-communicating thing persisted. It did however communicate according to my host list at Rosetta. I can see the new version (now 8.0.4, was 7.18) The previous version worked for 11M points so it good but I poked around in Hosts prior to a restart and that could be the reason. I still have work to do there

If Mint is your flavour go for it. I can hardy recommend Ubuntu untill the correct non-beta version of Manager is included in the Snap Store.

Edit: I got versions numbers mixed up and fixed that and the text to fit.

Amazing effort and update man, thank you for putting in the efforts to let me know I think most of the servers seem to be having some weirdness going on, not sure what or why is causing the drama but that's another story I'm going to guess...

My 3900X Linux more of less 24/7 and the 5950X Win 10 on and off. I saddens me to see <400 points for 8 hour run when I saw +600 with Linux.

Here we are everyone for a Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 26th May 2025!!

Well there we are everyone, 8 members and a nice 112,000 points for the day!! Great job indeed!! I do hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? I have been trying to get a few more points towards the Rosetta cause myself, so hopefully might hopefully keep a decent score coming in if I can get the solar to give me some power I try to run some things regardless but its not always cheap to do so! Well, here we are at that point for the Server stats again, here goes....

Not so many today, I'm guessing its been a slow day for all the teams but I'm sure we'll all be kicking bottom tomorrow A little around 70,000 queued jobs have been dropped today.. Wonder if we'll see a bit of a rise tomorrow Take care everyone, keep up the great work for TPU!!

I wish Windows wasn't so bloated and full of crap but it seems to be that its not going to ever really change... Linux or bust I think with the crunching at times!! That's a big gain in points, 50% more if my maths skills aren't failing me??

I have been testing Linux distros, well not really testing but trying them. I'm looking into using a headless Linux version for the crunching. I've just got to figure out what dependencies blah blah blah to get both to run with minimal babysitting.
TinyCoreLinux, Alpine Linux. Debian minimal headless looks to be a good fit for BOINC and it's dependencies. Good Nvidia support as well.

Here we are for a nice Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 27th May 2025!!

And there we are, nicely done everyone!! Just over a 104,000 points for the day, pretty darn decent I think!! How about yourselves?? Well, there we are for another day, ah, below though, here we are with the server stats -

Not too bad I think, bit low I think on the jobs done but maybe I expect to much lol!! Around 67,000 jobs gone I believe?? I hope my maths isn't failing me.... Well, here's hoping to see you all again soon again, take care everyone!! Hopefully see you back tomorrow!!

And there we are, touch of a drop with Rosetta points today but still great work from everyone contributing today, Rosetta is definitely a weird one but also points are always a bit crazy with it at times... Still, here we are again with another great day compared to times past Thank you everyone for the support and contributions as always!! As always, here we are for another update with our server stats too....

Not quite 70,000 work units been completed I don't think (unless my maths is failing again!!) but maybe its just that time everyone is taking a break Can't blame them!! Take care everyone, time to get a move on to the next update, hope to see you there, take care everyone!!

And here we are ladies and gents again, the Rosetta Pie Stats for the 29th May 2025!!

Not a bad day again everyone, wondering what is going on with the Rosetta stats but I hope everyone is doing well and is OK more importantly Better results than yesterday, that's great work as always from everyone!! I hope everyone is having a good day and is OK?? Well, not sure what else I can say at the moment, but here we are with the server stats for the day....

And there we go everyone, nice work as always About 70,000 jobs done yesterday with everyone (all teams not just ours Wonder what those sort of stats would be like..... But I digress!!) which isn't bad, maybe some longer work units coming this way I'm going to guess??
Still, keep up the amazing work everyone, we can't do it without you Take care and we'll hopefully be seeing you all again real soon, like, maybe tomorrow?? Take care everyone!!

And here we are for the only update for Rosetta Pie Stats for the 30th May 2025!! (will explain in a bit...)

And there we are everyone, not a bad day for Rosetta I'm sure Nicely done everyone, I hope you are all doing well and are OK?? Oh, here we are with the server stats as we do every day

And there we go I think the stats have dropped about 60,000 jobs over yesterday but I'm not sure if they have more work or if people turning off the machines, seems a little of a drop from the 150,000 to 200,000 we have been seeing but, we getting the work done at least Well, you know, all the teams are

Sadly though I've been unable to get any further stats from stats.free-dc.org of late as for some reason it appears the site is completely down, was kinda lucky to get what I have done for the 30th, but for tomorrows update, I've not been able to get anything... This is all I'm getting now

That goes for any of the WCG, Denis, Einstien, Milkyway and Rosetta work that we all do... I've checked it on one of the down site detectors and it says the server has been down for about a week.. Not sure what's going on there...
I'll have to try and get a bit of time and grab some data from the not so friendly site for me - Boinc Stats... I'll see how I get on and report back as soon as I can Take care everyone!!

And here we are, time for a little update for our Rosetta Pie Stats for the 1st June 2025!!

And there we are, a much lower score than normal but I'm definitely sure its not been reporting properly, so definitely not taking 100% true I think!! That said however, here are the server stats as we always do... Take a look!!

Now there we are, that's a little better than yesterdays total of queued jobs completed but we are about the 190,000 units mark, so I think that's a little more our normal sort of contribution!! Well without any further messing about, I'll leave it there and go on to the next update!! Take care everyone!!

Well here we are everyone, time for a few days worth of updates for Rosetta now!! Here we go for the Rosetta Pie Stats for the 3rd June 2025!!

And there we go, a bit of a drop in the points for some reason but I'm not sure why... Is everyone getting work OK through or has its started to dry up a little like WCG?? Answers on a postcard or forum if you could please!! I love to hear from everyone regarding their experiences... Still, here we are for the next update for the day, the server stats....

Surely it can't be because there's not enough jobs waiting to go around?? Hope not!! Well, there we go to todays update, got time for a few more have you?? Follow me down the page!! See you there hopefully!

And there we are, a small increase from the score yesterday but here's hoping it'll still carry on!! Time to get to the server stats I think, they are below......

And there we are, not a great change in the stats at all but still I think more than yesterday, so that's great !! Long may it continue!! See you in a bit as we have one more update to go for tomorrows update....

And there we are with some better numbers today, I knew we would do it... Rosetta, what are you doing?!?! Nearly double the score, awesome!! So, lets see what sort of mess the server stats are in.....

Well about 80,000 jobs that have gone from the server stats, I don't think that's anything but awesome with the work everyone is putting in at all... I do wonder however what is going on with Rosetta in the first place for the such unlevel amount of performance and contributions.... I dunno... Hopefuly they can sort that out!! Well, since I've done enough damage here, I think its time for me to disappear and do another thread update!! Take care everyone!! Can't wait to see you back again soon!! And here we are again with another Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 6th June 2025!!

And there we are everyone, another good day for Rosetta I think, points down but, its Rosetta, it seems to have its more up and down days as always... Still never mind, we are smashing it out more than before so, I'm happy as Larry... Well, you know, so to speak But on a big plus side, it seems that we have had some milestones and stoners today..........

Not a bad chunk of queued jobs done yesterday, around 90,000 I think it my maths is working for me this morning?? So lets hope we can keep up the great work and I will hopefully see you back again tomorrow for another days update!! Take care everyone!!

And there we are everyone, another good days contribution for Rosetta!! Nicely done everyone, it seems Rosetta is a little up and down at the moment with how the points are so, anyone able to get the work and push some points towards TPU, outstanding is my opinion!!
Not forgetting our little server stats update........

And here we are again everyone, nicely done!! I see the points are still a little up and down with Rosetta, so we'll just forgive it and move on I hope everyone is doing well and is OK today?? Hopefully no Monday blues.....

And there we are, not a bad day at all and we still managed a fairly decent score for Rosetta too About 95,000 queued jobs have been done which is pretty decent, wondering what tomorrow will bring us Take care everyone, I hope you have a great rest to your day!!

There we are again everyone, another great day with Rosetta Pie Stats, which is a shame that its not got to many members today... Sad face... Hopefully tomorrow we can see a few more members being on and returning some work!
But as always, here we are with the server stats......

No masses of Rosetta queued jobs done today but maybe people are giving their machines a rest?? Wondering what the rest of the teams are managing.... Lets take a look shall we??......

Seems like a lot of the teams not really pushing record numbers but just Gridcoin and Planet 3DNow! pushing a lot more than everyone else, big difference between 2nd and 3rd place.... wow.... So its all the teams then I had no doubt Hope everyone has a great time and is OK today!! Take care everyone!!

Well here we are for the Rosetta Pie Stats for the 10th June 2025!!

And there we are, a drop in the points today and I'm not really sure unless the Rosetta servers just not giving out work at the moment, sometimes happens, clears a back log maybe and then the flood the gates of WCG or Boinc!! We'll see what tomorrow brings, but I suppose we'll just have a quick look into the server stats as well.....

About 68,000 queued jobs have gone today, so ummm, normally its a lot more than that but wondering if its the server end .... Ah well, we'll just move on and see what tomorrow brings! And there we are everyone, not a bad update for Rosetta today considering its been a little up and down and all over the place of late, so we'll take that as a win I hope everyone is doing well and are OK?? Well, time's a pressing on (apparently tea is ready........) so here we are with the server stats.....

And there we are, done! About 72,000 queued jobs have been done there today, so hopefully not anything too bad at all Lets see what tomorrow bring, shall we?? Take care everyone, keep up the amazing work!!

And there we are again everyone, a lower scoring day but at least 7 have been able to make a contribution, wonder if some have just stopped for a bit or just haven't been getting the jobs through?? Any problems please do let us all know so we can just see if there are any issues Now, time to go and get on with the server stats I think Here we go!!

Not a bad day I don't think, that's what 65,000 queued jobs, I'm surprised its not more... We've been doing nearly and at some points, over 200,000 jobs... Maybe some harder ones or something.... We'll see I hope everyone is doing well and is OK today, being Friday and all, I hope you are all having a great day!!

Well there we are again everyone, nicely done I think!! Managed to get a fairly good score in today, I hope everyone is doing alright?? The scores seems to be a weird one.. So up and down recently... Still, I hope we'll smash some more points out tomorrow for that update Oh, speaking of which, here we are with the server stats.....

Well there we are about 94,000 queued work jobs done, not bad at all I hope we can grab some more points tomorrow everyone, I think the PCs been on a little longer today, so here's hoping I hope to see you all back again tomorrow for another update!!
