So who’s paying $100 for GTA 6 then?

I actually liked FC but FC6 was totally trash imo, although i wish it allowed for 3 ppl COOP story mode though as 2 of us had hell load of fun with it.
They messed up FC6 more ways than one, the absolute final nail in the coffin was the helicopter handling it just one of the worst handling thing ever on digital realm. I had tons of fun flying buzzer while raining down M79 fire from it, so if they managed to make buzzer so much fun on FC4 how on God's Earth they ruined it on FC6?

I do remember disliking the flying in it too.

The question shouldn't be "whos paying 100$ for GTA 6" but who's "paying 60$ for every other game that has only a fraction of the attention to detail, production values and quality that GTA 6 is going to have (im basing this on past experience with rockstar games). Im not a fan of the series - but it's obvious from both gta and rdr that rockstar games should cost at least twice as much as eg. Call of Duty.

Because its going to run at 30 fps on the PS5/XBOX most likely, that sounds horrendous to me.

Meh, GTAV isn't really that detailed, GTAV is popular because the multiplayer aspect, as they can do a lot of things in it (this started with free SAMP mod, San Andreas multiplayer I have tons of fun playing it back in the day, there is a lot of cheater but since it's not moderated by R* themself it's up to server moderator to kick/ban them).

What I don't like is they have the audacity to charge that much then selling something like shark cards inside the game and becoming lazy not making a single player DLC at all when they promised it. GTA started as single player, and I like it to stay that way. Going with multiple protagonists is weak as none of them are really that interesting, like @kilo say three men yelling at each other. Looks like 6 will have at least two protagonists and doesn't really seem to be interesting from the trailer.

Hard pass on buying it in general. It's undoubtedly going to be infested with real-world politics/propaganda/ideology etc. plus seriously screw their launcher.

Let's see the hardware requirements and game play footage first and if after the upgrade there are still money for this then yes i would buy this. If not then "wait for crack"

Never liked any gta games so will pass

Wouldn't even pay 5bucks tbh, over the top plasticky grotesquely exaggerated mainstream mainstream filth. Sick to fucking death of this same old mainstream western games. Even many indie games mean far more to me than this. It's clear to me that when your formula is to make something that appeals to as many people as utterly possible that you end up with an enormous pile of crap.
Now whats interesting is for me GTA 3 on the PS2 was the absolute hydrogen bomb, a full blown virtual reality where you could live out your fantasies and which was so original. GTA 3 to me didn't came across as overely western or American, it simply came across as neutral, like it was from a parallel universe with out all the human rubbish from realworld politics. Liberty City sure as hell didn't came across as NY, but rather a cross between Canada and China. :) My opinions of course.

Give me Just Cause 5

In 3-5 years I will get it for free, just as any other AAA game (actually any game) I have.
Free to play, that's my moto.

Opps i made a typo in my last one which was FC, it should of said FC5. But yeah it just seemed like FC6 it only had the graphics going for it HAHA.

I played FC6 for free, it was a free weekend they had, can't remember if it was game pass or just uplay launcher, it was alright, like 7/10, but then I stumbled on the Stranger Things DLC by accident and I didn't realize there was a Stranger Things themed area in the game, and it totally caught me by surprised, I ended up binge playing that free trial weekend, then I got stuck at the end and couldn't figure out how to get further in the story, so I said fk it and never bought it. I give the stranger things experience a 10/10 though, mainly because I wasn't expecting it haha, if I saw it in the DLC list, I prob give it a 9/10 cause i would have been expecting it

end of FC6 was garbage like 4/10 though, they made it so confusing to figure out how to get past the barricades, i just said fuck it and quit

FC3 is my fav of them

There no real planing with it you had all the weapons on you all the time, missions seemed very dumb and annoying and AI were just as dumb and camp put you in to 3rd person was like WTF. How well FC5 was and sure it had it's flaws puzzled me how they so fcked FC6.

I'll be playing it. Dunno if I'll be buying it at full price. Just picked up GTAV on PS5 for like $30 Canadian Dunkaroos. And have it free on Epic Game Store.

Even for a man of God like myself, I still have to release pent up rage and anger. What better way than to run people over in a video game? It's the litteral definition of the ".....in Minecraft" as it gets.

Not interested. I won't buy it even at a huge discount. But I'll gladly spend the predicted $100 on supporting indie devs.

The only one in the series I ever got was the free GTA5 from Epic, and only used it for benchmarking.

Guess thug life isn't for me

GTAV is a jack of all trades and master of none game. You can drive, but the driving physics suck. You can shoot, but the shooting feels awkward. You can get in fistfights, but the melee system is poor. Etc, etc. I'd rather put $100 into a few games that specialize and do things well. Any competently made indie game will have better mechanics. Besides, I don't need to roleplay urban violence--imo that's for kids.

Have you tried it recently? It's not as bad as it once was. It's very much GTAV arcadish, but the physics have become much less janky than they were even a few years ago.

True! It's much better/easier with a KB&M than a controller.

Again, true, but better with KB&M.

Nope but the amount of people who will is going to set a bad precedent.

It's true that I haven't tried to play GTAV since 2015--I can believe there have been improvements since then. Actually, I tried the copy that came with my PS4 bundle so I'm sure that made everything feel worse (lol 30fps target, i just checked).

I won't know until it's close to launch, I won't be buying it for a console system though.

GTA5 was one of those games that was out for so long that I believe I was still on my Q6600 and 8800gt when it launched.
Along with games like CSGO and Diablo 3, it's very interesting to experience the feeling of multiple sizable hardware upgrades over the years with some of these games that get hundreds or thousands of hours of game play.

You mean GTAV enhanced?

i agree, but we also need to start asking for more in return, if i went to a bar and they sold me beer that still had cereal on it i would not pay, if i went to a concert and the dude couldn't sing, was drunk, and asked for some patient in the next hour he would get it right i would start a riot
Thats not how consumer power is enforced. Its how you trick yourself effectively. If you want products or companies to change you gotta stop buying/visiting/using.

Hot take: GTA2 was the last good GTA :D
