Welcome to the first week of June, which kicks off the summer with a whimper when it comes to new games, courtesy of the Switch 2 launch which seems to be getting all the spotlight when it comes to new game releases. As such, this week's major release is a retro RPG that takes place in the Undertale universe. This is followed by a co-op platform adventurer, your chance to become a 1980's industry tycoon, trying to clear your name after having been accused of murder, take on the role of the hero in a new JRPG and finally you have the chance to explore a long lost underground civilization.

Deltarune / This week's major release / Wednesday 4 June
Dive into the parallel story to Undertale. Fight or spare your way through action-packed battles as you explore a mysterious world alongside an endearing cast of new and familiar characters. Chapters 1-4 will be available on launch, with more planned as free updates. Steam link

Popucom / Monday 2 June
Venture together with your friends on an unknown planet. Use color switching, match-3 shooting, and artifact powers to overcome challenges and keep advancing. What lies ahead of you is an adventure filled with wonder, hope, and much more to discover. Steam link

Rise of Industry 2 / Tuesday 3 June
Navigate the competitive industrial landscape of vibrant 1980's USA. Make strategic manufacturing decisions, optimize production chains, acquire technologies, and expand your global business network with key contacts. Opportunities await those savvy enough to capitalize on them. Steam link

Kill The Clock / Wednesday 4 June / Early Access
Kill the Clock is a narrative time-loop mystery adventure where you relive the same week to solve a murder that keeps changing. Customize your character, roll dice to influence story outcomes, and uncover the truth—before time resets again. Steam link

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma / Thursday 5 June
Welcome to the eastern nation of Azuma! In this fresh take on Rune Factory, use your powers as an Earth Dancer to restore the land, its people, and even its gods. Along the way, battle corrupted monsters, rebuild seasonal farms and villages, and form bonds with the colorful locals. Steam link

Trigger of Time / Friday 6 June
A vanished expedition. A forgotten underground city. Explore the echoes of a lost civilization in this short first-person adventure, and bend time to solve intricate puzzles woven into the ruins. Steam link

delta rune and guardians were already on my wishlist, but trigger of time looks decent, i will add that one

thanks again for steam links.

Nothing for me this week gonna take a break from gaming and be full time Cinderella dad…. Cooking cleaning fixing…

Trigger of Time look's nice. Added to wish list :).
Thanks :)

Trigger of Time does sound like it'll scratch that Portal-esque itch. The Steam page says it's only 1.5 hours long, which actually makes me more likely to buy it as I'll have a chance of actually finishing it! Assuming the price reflects the length...I'm not sure what is reasonable, there's no price on the Steam page yet but the like. I'm going to guess £19.99, but I don't really wanna pay more than £10-15 for a 1.5 hour game.

Will definitely get Deltarune. I loved everything about Undertale, and few games touched me the way it did.

Also downloading the demo of Kill the Clock. A murder mystery VN with RPG mechanics sounds different.

Rise of Industry has been on my wishlist for a bit, didn't know a second one was coming. But honestly it feels like my tycoon/city builder game quota will be filled by Workers and Resources: Soviet Union for the forseeable future.

Wow, £6.80 launch offer until the 20th! I've bought, will try later, it's gotta be worth £6.80 though!
