Apple's macOS 26 "Tahoe" Introduces Floating, Transparent "Liquid Glass" UI

I'm just not disco-enough for all the fancy UI noise that gets attention on any platform (mobile/desktop). I prefer the no-bollox simplest and flattest of UI elements in a mono dark-mode setting. Basically MS-DOS brought to life with the addition of modern and slick objects and lines carved out of shades of grey or dimmed whites on a black wall of nothingness.

Saying that I do like the idea of this translucent liquid glass vibe but knowing myself, I’d probably get tired of it in a month and retreat back to the shadows.

This is the pinnacle of "neomorphism"

Why when I was watching this add guy had shirt and trousers from bigger brother, and why it is nothing new for me and my android phone?
It was strange to look at guy as he is discovering old things, but hey it's apple they even patented slide to unlock -.-

ooh nice we can expect windows to copy this in the worst way possible.

Isn't glass technically always a liquid?
This was my very first thought.

One more reason to hate the MacOS gui. The video would be way more awesome if someone tackled "black-rim glasses cool nerd guy"

That looks like trash imho. The extra shimmering is too much. Hopefully people will have options to not use that "theme".
It should've been more of a frosted glass imho.
