SHADOW, the Global leader in high-performance cloud computing, is proud to announce the launch of Neo, a brand-new cloud gaming PC offering designed to deliver next-level RTX experiences for gamers, creators, and professionals alike. Neo will officially roll out in Europe and North America starting June 16, 2025.

Building on the success of the company's previous offers, Neo replaces its widely adopted "Boost" tier and delivers major performance leaps—up to 150% more in gaming and 200% more in pro software performance. All existing Boost users are being upgraded to Neo at no additional cost while new users rates will start at $37.99 per month.

"Neo is our newest and most versatile cloud PC yet," said Olivier Abecassis, CEO at Shadow. "Whether you're gaming in 2K with RTX and DLSS, editing complex 3D models, or working on the go, Shadow Neo gives you the power of a high-end PC—instantly and from anywhere."

Freedom Without Limits
Unlike other cloud gaming services, SHADOW gives users access to a full Windows PC that works across any device—Mac, iOS, Android, Linux, TV, or browser—and is compatible with all platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and more. Users can install any software, use mods, and connect their favorite peripherals.

A Proven Solution, Evolving Further
Since its launch in 2017, the legacy SHADOW Boost offer has served over 700,000 users across 14 countries. With Neo, the company continues to expand its reach among gamers, Mac users seeking full compatibility with Windows software and games, and B2B customers in industries like gaming, engineering, architecture, media production, and more.

So.. this is like a regular cloud gaming service but with the extra hassle of having to go through windows to launch the games?

Soooo...lets get this straight.....

You use your own computer to access one of theirs, AND pay for a subscription to it as well....

And here I thought it was nothing more than a greed-mongering money grab when we had to start paying for a subscription to use certain web-based apps, which you can do with practically ANY computer that is capable of running the apps....and now that list includes the peecee itself....

W.T.F. has this world come to.....

don't answer that, as I already know....

That's nuts. I used it for a while when they first launched and it was like $15/month for a GTX 1080 class rig, which was top tier at the time. It was honestly the best cloud gaming experience I've had. Better performance than Geforce Now and it's a full PC so no limits on what games/mods you could use. But prices slowly started creeping up and I dropped the service when it hit $25/month. $38/month for a RTX 4060 class rig with 16gb RAM in 2025 is daylight robbery. If you can't afford a new gaming PC up front, you could literally finance one through Best Buy/Newegg/Microcenter and have a paid off PC that will have objectively better performance for less than the cost of using Shadow for 2 years. What they should really do is sell their software. Like I said, it was legitimately a great cloud gaming experience, better than any other service I've used, even better than using my own PC as a host and playing remotely using Geforce Experience/Sunshine/Parsec etc. I would happily pay $20 or so to be able to install their host software on my desktop.

Even if you bought their software, you'd still have to pay for the cloud service on the backend. All that hardware aint cheap.

You shall own nothing and be happy ? Lol

Are you sure they own the hardware and they're not simply sub renting?

They're using Zen3 EPYC CPU cores with DDR4 and Quadro Ada GPUs. Were they using their own hardware, it would make more sense to spend a lot less money on consumer and prosumer grade hardware.
