Borderlands 4 Now Available for Pre-Order; Post-Launch Content to Include Story Missions and All-New Vault Hunters

Sooo, loads of content in the game locked out unless you buy a more expensive version? Yeah no thanks. I'll wait 3 years when it's in the bargain bin.

You must been talking about Borderlands 2 then,
Which became GOTY...
yes -- in responding to a post about how Borderlands 3 was meh, I must have been talking about Borderlands 2 :wtf:

BL2 > BL3

Chalk me up to the BL2 > BL3 camp. BL2 gave tons of variable play. BL3 I played once through and quit. Too ADHD oriented for me, and the infinite non-special legendary guns ruined the loot collecting.

I know inflation is hitting game prices, but I'm going to wait for reviews to come out and maybe holiday sale on this one. Not paying the early adopter / loyalist fee.

Apparently the game NEEDS an 8 core cpu

Played borderlands 1, 2 and the pre sequel and I would say bl2 never stuck to me, the classes were not as pronounced and the weapon grind just for damage jever did it to me. Still fun coop but then again with good company any game can be. Bl3 I never even touched, let alone bl4.

Nevermind that min-spec is upper-midrange 2019 cards! Given what 'minimum spec' means these days, I'd assume that means those cards can barely manage 720p internal res on the Low preset. I have to wonder what kind of settings entails a 3080/equiv. as a 'recommended spec'...
