GIGABYTE, the world's leading computer brand, announces the availability of the MO27Q2A QD-OLED gaming monitor, the brand's first QHD 280 Hz OLED display. Featuring a blazing-fast 280 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms GtG response time, and VESA ClearMR 15000 certification, the MO27Q2A delivers ultra-smooth motion and competitive speed for next-gen gaming.

Built with a 27" 2560×1440 OLED panel, the MO27Q2A supports DisplayHDR True Black 400, offers 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, Delta E<2 color accuracy, and reaches up to 1000 nits peak brightness with HDR Peak 1000 Mode, delivering stunning contrast and vibrant visuals. The monitor is also G-SYNC Compatible and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, ensuring smooth and tear-free gameplay.

Designed for competitive gamers, the MO27Q2A includes enhanced tactical features. Ultra Clear, powered by black frame insertion (BFI), effectively reduces motion blur. When connected to a 120 Hz game console, enabling Ultra Clear significantly enhances motion clarity, even approaching the perceived sharpness of doubled refresh rates. Tactical Switch 2.0 allows players to instantly toggle between 16:9, 4:3, and 5:4 aspect ratios or shrink the display area to 24 inches, enhancing focus in FPS gameplay. Additionally, VRR Anti-Flicker intelligently adjusts the variable refresh rate range to reduce flickering and maintain visual comfort in fast-moving scenes.

To ensure long-term performance and durability, the MO27Q2A integrates GIGABYTE's AI OLED Care technology, which proactively manages pixel refresh to mitigate burn-in risks. It also features graphene thermal film and a fanless four-sided cooling system, providing efficient and silent heat dissipation during extended use.

Combining high refresh rates, precise colors, and advanced tactical features, the MO27Q2A is built for gamers who demand both elite performance and an immersive viewing experience.

Guys.

4K Ultra-Widescreen. With 60+hz

Is it really that hard to understand?
How many Decades more do I need to wait for this?

Like this one from 2023?

or this one from early 2024?

And don't reply by too expensive or too big, as this is what you asked for.

I have a major problem with them. They are CURVED.

Also since 27" 2160p panels do exist asking for a 34" UW2160p isn't completely unreasonable. Why can I get a 16:9 2160p high refresh rate display for 500 dollars but there's not a single one non-curved 21:9 2160p display?

You'd have to ask the panel and display manufacturers about that.

This uses tandem W-OLED panels, which will increase the brightness and DCI-P3 coverage. According to the information released during Computex pricing is suppose to be at around $499 which makes it really competitive considering it's a brand new tech.

Yeah, to be honest I want a 5120x2160 non-curved ultrawide OLED. The LG one is great, but my tastes have changed to prefer non-curved monitors.

My old Samsung Odyssey Neo G9" (2021/2022) and AW3423DWF (2022/2023) were great, but despite the curve still took up too much room on the desk, even with a custom VESA arm mount.

Something like the Acer Nitro XC340CK Pbmiipphzx (wtf, lol) from 2020 was perfect. 144Hz, IPS, two HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.4a ports with not-so-bad built-in speakers. If any OEM can just make a flat OLED at 240+Hz but at 5120x2160 at maybe... 49" or 57"? That would be great.

I would've been happy with just a decent 144 Hz IPS at 34". Like, my problem is I'm not comfortable with sitting closer than a metre to the display. This makes 1440p extremely uncomfortable for work with text (it's not legible from that far on 27" displays, or not big enough to be nice to my eyes on 32" displays); 1080p is just 1080p, I only consider this a gaming resolution, don't cut it for work; and at 2160p, it's perfect. Alas, no one provides an ultrawide option without a curve. I wouldn't even care if they asked like a gajillion money for that. Just make it exist...

I did not. At those Prices, these Monitors are basically unobtainium.
Size is Fine.

Its 2025, dont tell me the industry is not capable of making an UW 4K at under 500€. I dont even care if they use the shittiest of panel technologies.

We have flex, whatever led technology and a million hz. Where are the Pixels?
