NVIDIA has released the latest version of its GeForce Game Ready drivers, version 576.80 WHQL. The new drivers fix a couple of gaming and general bugs, and are Game Ready drivers which means these bring day-0 support for Remedy Entertainment's co-op multiplayer game, FBC: Firebreak, which includes full ray tracing, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and NVIDIA Reflex. It also adds support for REMATCH, coming with DLSS 4 With Multi Frame Generation support, and support for DOOM: The Dark Ages' new update, which adds path tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction. The new drivers also add support for 46 new and updated NVIDIA app DLSS overrides, and 4 new Optimal Playable Settings profiles.

NVIDIA also fixed several gaming and general bugs, including stability issues in games like Dune: Awakening, EA Sports FC 25, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Marvel Rivals, Gray Zone Warfare, Forza Horizon 5, and others, a well as some general bugs including GeForce RTX 5090 FE acoustic improvements for idle and low loads, and fix for an issue where certain DisplayPort 1.4 monitors may display random black screen flicker when connected to DisplayPort 2.1 graphics card.

But did it finally fix the dreaded black screen blanking issue on older RTX3/4 series?

How about PC starting with Enhanced Colour Mode?
I guess you can add it to the list.

These are the drivers you are looking for, they work, and they work well.

The only thing I still struggle with is, that when I enable Smooth Motion, it will underclock my memory by 200mhz, it's weird.

Probably using the CUDA clocks or something, which are slight underclocks. I believe nvprofileinspector can make that stop.

ALT-TAB (⊞-D/⊞-TAB) to desktop still crashes games when G-Sync is enabled and the Low Latency mode is on Ultra.
Also the volume overlay from Win11, when trying to adjust the volume via the keyboard does the same thing.
You'd think a multi trillion $ company would have addressed this by now... Unbelievable incompetence.

Latest drivers installed. Have gsync and vsync enabled in Nvcp no issue alt-tabbing on Win11 at all. I don’t use ultra tho it’s a waste imo just set it to on. But on a two year old 4070 so maybe a 50 series issue.

Downloaded the Nvidia driver and AMD chipset driver today, both seem to be working very well so far.

No issue here while ALT-TABing with GSync on;

But my monitor still default to Enhance colour mode on startup! It's annoying.

I have low latency on 'Ultra', G-Sync and V-Sync enabled and I can WIN-D or ALT-TAB all day in games with these drivers and every driver before that. Volume overlay is also no problem at all. Sounds to me more like the "unbelievable incompetence" is a PEBKAC issue with @Prima.Vera :D .

I laughed out loud reading that they Broke RT in WoW...

Not that RT in WoW is - Worth turning on or anything, GG nvidia.

new driver does finally fix my crashing in Marvel Rivals on my 5080.

great, the baking issue in substance painter has been solved. only annoying issue on sites like netflix, primevideo etc. there are a few seconds of black screen before the video starts on rtx5080 with super resolution active

Issue during install of Nvidia Game Ready Driver released on June 17th 2025. Anyone else?

So right now, when I turn on my PC, the Nvidia App will automatically download an update. That was fine. Then I went to install the driver and 3 seconds after DOWNLOADING driver in the App, this happened:

First: Got the Blue screen message

Computer booted back up and as I tried to open Nvidia app, I got this message that appeared just like that. So the error message appeared in notepad or something similar when I tried to open Nvidia App (did not try to open Nvidia Control Panel). That showed up when trying to open it at control center (right click and select Nvidia App). I tried the shortcut when pushing windows logo and an error message popped up but it wasn’t exactly the same way. Used Revo uninstaller restarted PC and then redownloaded Nvidia App. Guessing it’s something to do with the driver updated that was released June 17th 2025 (based on what I have read so far)

The report a problem via Nvidia website does not allow you to upload photos. Guessing I can use IMGUR and link it where it asks for links.

Damn I swear this use to be me. I don't how it stopped because all I did was reinstall Windows. ...to hell with it, I'm just going to blame Windows and Nvidia. Two updates now and they have been solid. /shrugs I wish you luck man...cause I know your pain.

I am stuck with 566.14 and 566.36. Any other driver is causing black screens, flickering, Gsync not working as before, my LG C1 is going crazy, lately its color changed! I found out it was Dolby Vision added with latest windows updates 24H2. 566.36 is golden driver for me still. And 566.14 is for my LG C1 + MSFS2020 / 2024. I feel like Nvidia want us all to buy a 50 series card... edit: Forgot to add. So many game crashes!
