Welcome to the halfway point of 2025 and it's the slowest week of new releases we've had in a while, with this week's major release being a JPRG from SEGA. This is followed by another Asian game, but in a very different style, some zombie killing, but in a cute Asian way, another RPG, but about teenagers, a 25th anniversary remaster of a classic and finally a 2.5D platformer.

Imm sim is my favorite genre, so I'm naturally looking forward to the remastered System Shock 2. It's hard to believe I still haven't played this classic, so now it'd be the perfect time.

As a fan of indies, platformers and rhythm games I'll be looking into Antro as well.

SS2 remaster still looks like a non remaster imo...

I thought it does look like a remaster.
Except for the higher res textures, and a little increase in polygon count on some characters, is basically the same.

Yeah....it's a REMASTER. What you were looking for is a Remake.

Remasters should only ever touch the graphics and maybe the UI. Nothing else.

MAybe I'm spoiled with the Diablo 2 remaster, or remake...called resurrected :)

So yeah, I'll definitely check out System Shock 2.
or may not be appropriate for viewing at work
Woops, too late ;)

Persona5: The Phantom X, but I'm also happy for SS2 remaster.

There are levels to things. D2 Resurrected is new graphics on top of the sprites, this is updated old graphics.

SS2 looks tempting, but I got other games I would spend those ~$29, if I was to spend any money at all.
