I have a HP Zbook 15 G2 Laptop
BIOS L70 01.07 (01/10/2014)
GPU MXM-A
NVIDIA Quadro K1100M

Do you know if an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 MXM-A would work on my Laptop?

The ultimate spec of your laptop would have come with a NVIDIA Quadro K2100M. Anything outside of that is not guaranteed to work due to HP locking down their bioses and only allowing verified and very specific hardware to run.

Even if it did support the 1050. It would need one with a HP bios to be able to run on their laptops.

There are threads where people successfully swapped to Quadro P-series (also Pascal-based). So, 1050 MXM should work as well.
One dude even swapped to P3000 after tinkering with SATA ODD slot ( so it'll fit Type-B MXM).
I'd say - go for it.

Hello, can you give me the link to that thread or forum, I’m lookin fon info

There's a thread here on TPU
Also there's google.
For some cards you have to modify inf file and replace PCI Dev IDs accodingly. Also "hybrid graphics" (e.g. Nvidia Optimus) should be enabled.
Also don't forget to update BIOS to the latest version.

Another thing to note, is just like with regular GPUs - there are lots of bad sellers that may sell dead cards. Lots of used MXM GPUs are sold untested.

I know, I already edited the inf file, and make it work for like five minutes an after that a bsod,I’m thinking the last part, maybe the gpu I bought is dead or corrupted, I made a thread recently, Can you go and take a look pls

I’m asking bc i bought a gtx 1050 and I’m having a lot of trouble to make it work,
HP is a bit funky with their VBIOS config's. With some HP systems only HP coded VBIOS MXM cards will work and it's not also easy to figure out which ones will work.

I bought one made by aetina and sub vendor hp , I thought it would work bc of that but driver crashes and throws me error 43 and couldn’t fix it
